read this in my vegas newsletter today:
Aside from what you know, (read the replies below) it has now been confirmed that the scene where Matt Dusk is singing at Ferraro's was also staged. It was reported that Dusk never sang there before the taping of the show and never sang there again after the taping was finished. Dusk is no longer performing at the Golden Nugget due to continued performance disagreements with management. I don't blame him. |

I thought it was a medicore show at best, but I will give it one more episode to improve.

This was the first episode I saw "live" (nothing else was on, so it was playing in the background for me), and this show is dull.
Then again, I was watching "American Casino" this past weekend, and didn't find it all that interesting either. I think I've about had my fill of Vegas/Casino-related shows for now. |
I've given up my interest on this show. Tonight was the first episode I missed, and I certainly wasn't too upset about it.

I can't believe how staged this show looks. I only switched over for a few minutes and it was blatantly obvious. It's just too paintful to watch.

And the poor dealer boy's subplot was so agonizingly sad. It was like the same plot as "The Last American Virgin".

I think it was the promise of those advisory on mature content that Fox kept repeating during the episode... :D
