Extreme Dodgeball anyone?
#2
I'm wondering how long it takes before these "gimmick" teams gets old. I will be tuning in though to see if the games are fun to watch. I am always a fan of people getting hit in the head by high speed objects.

if you want to call it "extreme" dodgeball, add something "extreme" like lacrosse balls, or rocks.

Didn't see anything on the main page of what time it airs, but if you check their guide, as i've seen the previews, the first show starts tomorrow at 10 eastern p.m.
Ironic that dodgeball the movie starts friday. Too bad they didn't shell out some $$$ to Vince Vaughn so he can do a Michael Buffer and start the show with, "dodgeball baby dodgeball"

WHY WHEN I WAS A BOY.....dodgeball was for the wusses and nancyboys. We had Chestnut Fights and everything counted. We would total points when the game ended, which wasn't until someone cried. And someone always did.

Anyone watch? I thought it was pretty lame.
I bet it would be cool if they were real teams of real people, not mimes and sumo wrestlers.
Something with a little more structure, actual athletes...That would be better, but this version is just silly IMO.

I thought about watching it just to see what it was like, but when i heard zach selwyn was hosting that, that got shot to hell as I couldn't stand him on Dream Job.

I just started watching it and so far it's only ok. I would have rather seen the bodybuilders against the jockey's for the first match but oh well.
I like how after the match they replenish the body's lost fluids with cold refreshing coke instead of that old fad where people drink water

I think this show would have been better if they would have got real local teams from different leagues, if such things exist.

I thought it was a decent show. The rules are all the same as I remember from playing in gym class as a kid. I guess its not quite as exciting of a show as I thought it would be though.
