USA TODAY Mondays edition doesn't list 24 on for next year

In Monday's edition USA TODAY list next years fall line up, Fox has some other shows on during 24's regular time slot. What gives, is the show canceled or being moved or what.

24 is being held back until January to allow for an uninterrupted run.

Naw. It's scheduled for a January run on Mondays at 9 pm eastern.

Really?

For its fourth season, FOX moves "24" to 8 p.m. on Mondays, where it will be used to draw viewers to the new drama from "The O.C." creator Josh Schwartz. Tentatively titled "Athens," it focuses on the contentious social dynamic in a fictional New England college town.

24 on Mondays? That will feel weird. But, at least it frees up Tuesdays for 3 hour episodes of American idol! w00t!

It's definitely on at 9pm...the initial FOX press release had a typo in it.

Not good for the first 4 weeks during the end of football season. Dumb move if you ask me.

January is play-off time for the NFL. Monday Night Football would be over by then and all the playoff games would be on Saturday or Sunday and not interfere with the Monday night slot for 24.
