Farewell Leo

The last Call for Help airs today on Tech TV as reported by Leo when he crashed TSS a few days ago.

Well then I'll be the second Scorpio to bit Leo adieu. He always seemed like a cool guy, just a bit on the kooky side. Always made computing fun, and I look forward to his future books and programs.

The San Francisco operation is being moved to L.A. for the merger with the G4 network. It is doubtful that he would transplant as he has a family in San Fran. This merger sucks.

I liked the show as well. I wonder if G4/Tech TV will create a copycat show?

This merger does indeed suck. G4 is a waste of a network and they are bringing down everything that was good and pure about Tech TV.

I cant watch TSS without Leo. I hate Patrick and whoever the other co-host guy is now.

I never watched Call For Help since I did not need the help they were giving heh.

But I do have fond memories of the classic TSS days with Kate and Leo...

I miss Leo and wish he could still be on The Screen Savers. But it looks like that is just not to be...

Im gonna miss Leo, he actually seemed to love what he did, the only show I really watch on G4 now is G4tv.com. Hopefully one day Leo will pop up on the new network. Until then I can only keep hope alive.

Good riddens. He offered nothing to the network and the only decent show is TSS, only due to Patrick and his screen presence.

No. I enjoy Pactrick and he is the only reason I find TSS even remotely interesting. As for Leo, he appeals the dumb in all of us. I would just rather not appeal to that part.

Sorry, wish we could all be that snobby and 1337 Leo brought it down to a level where anyone could understand the lingo. Allows new users to understand and brings in ratings.

It makes me laugh when I see people put down Leo and the stuff tech tv does in general. Those people whose intelligence seems to be insulted because Leo goes over basic questions and explains them in common terms. As "intelligent" as those people are, you would think they could grasp what the poster above stated ... and that is ...Leo and the rest brought computing to the masses. I for one am a Leo fan. He is genuine and you can see he actually enjoys what he does.

I guess those people would rather have that computer tech character from Saturday Night Live played by Jimmy Fallon, speaking down to people from his high perch.

I didnt know Leo was leaving, shame, he always added a little touch of humility that all the others on Tech TV lack, all thats left now are these computer geeks that think and ACT like theyre cooler and smarter than everyone else, Leo kept alot of that shit in place but now that he's gone its attack of the tech support people.

while i do like patrick, i think leo had an equal part of smartass-ness combined with a great way of explaining things so that normal people can understand them. while i am not as anti-kevin as some, i do miss the team of leo/patrick.

To me alot of the hosts often come off as holier than thou to either guests or callers, with some very smart ass comments thrown in from time to time, especially from Patrick.

Those were the days! Geez, my wife actually liked watching the show in those days.

I watched both Call for Help and TSS strictly because of Leo. Without him around, I probably won't watch TechTV at all.
