I downloaded an application, made a tape, and sending everything in Thursday. This looks like fun, my wife read the app & saw the tape, it is hilarious. I will post it on here after the due date. Anyone else trying to be on? Tired of playing armchair Survivor, looks like it would be a blast.

Good luck. I could not do it. I like to sleep and eat too much to go 39 days. Although, once someone gets voted out, they get a nice vacation!

I keep thinking of doing it. It seems to me that the trend of the show is away from "surviving" as far as food and water. I think it would be a blast.

My brother has tried a couple of times. But never any luck with it.

Well Osten could barely swim. Then again he could barely do anything.

I think getting acclimated to that Survivor lifestyle is a pretty hard process if you're a couch potato (like me).

I had an idea for an info-mercial style video. Where you could mention that you want to go on the Survivor diet plan and dating service (Rob & Amber).

Something along the lines of: Who needs the atkins or south beach diet, when you can go on the survivor diet. Lots of exercise with little food, and the food you do get you really don't want to eat ....

I've thought about it- I would really like to see how well I could do playing it but the time is sorta bad so I'm considering applying after I finish school (although I may apply now anyway since I assume I won't get picked)

If you're a lady, make sure you flash your boobs in the video you send in. They seem to love that.

it's not that important to me

my buddy got down to the final fifty in front of the producers but didn't get a call back. he would be perfect for that show. he's an amateur free diver and hyper analytical. he said he choked on the interview by coming across as too quiet compared to all his audition material.
