Originally posted by Patman I think Shii Ann would have voted for any female against Rob. I think the key was Lex's vote. Shi-Ann already said she would have voted for Rob over Jenna. Shi-Ann couldn't stand Jenna. |
Originally posted by iggystar Please help me remember, when Rob asked his beyotch, I mean Lex, to save Amber when they merged had Lex saved Jeri wouldn't Rob's tribe been outnumbered?! |
Originally posted by Vonner Potenially. Lex would have had himself, Kathy, Shii Ann, and Jerri while Rob would have had himself, Tom, Rupert, Jenna, and Alicia. It stood at 5-4 Rob. BUT, the theory is that Lex would have swayed his good body from Africa, Tom, to his side giving him the 5-4 advantage. |
We'll never know about Shii Ann, but given her eyeball-rolling, I still think she'd have a hard time voting for any non-female finalist because of the feminist streak I see in her. She may have said it now, but then, I dunno...

Originally posted by Red Dog The only way Rob could have won was if Jenna won the final IC and took him. In that case, Amber would have certainly voted for Rob. I wonder if he thought about that and considered throwing the challenge. |
Originally posted by BDLOU That is one bad typo.....Good body and Tom do not belong anywhere near the same sentence. Please fix this.....LOL |
Originally posted by Groucho What's the deal with Rob C? They described him as the "most strategic player in Survivor history" and talked him up as he was some sort of Survivor God. I think I saw his season, but I don't remember him at all. What was so great about him? He obviously didn't even win, and in Survivor All-Stars all he did was sit around, whine, and dig in the wrong area. He got booted early in this one because they all knew not to trust him. I think he was trying to gain their trust by not making alliances too soon, but he was gone before he knew what hit him. |
Yeah. Rob C played the game exactly like Boston Rob, only he was physically a wuss and had no chance at the girl. ;)

Originally posted by SunMonkey Yeah. Rob C played the game exactly like Boston Rob, only he was physically a wuss and had no chance at the girl. ;) I think Boston Rob was a lot more ruthless than Rob C. Rob C was a shoo-in to win had he gone to the Amazon final - he backstabbed people without pissing them off. That is what made him a master at the political part of the game. |
Rob C was fun to watch, and if he had the physical game to win the crucial immunity challenges down the stretch, he had a great shot of winning the Amazon season of Survivor. The way alliances flip-flopped that season was a great roller coaster ride.

Lex and Kathy have both admitted that Lex was in an alliance with Big Tom from before the game. Speculation is that Tom refuses to admit it in part because it was against the rules.

Tom never denied that he had a pre-game alliance with Lex...he just dodged the question.

ha ha, i loved how they asked if voting had been different if it was rob vs. jenna. Shi-ann said she would have changed her vote... jenna then blurts out "i would have won!"
then jeff says, "um, no you wouldn't have" |
Shii Ann hated a lot of people while on the jury.
This is all just idle speculation anyhoot. |
Originally posted by Patman Shii Ann hated a lot of people while on the jury. |
Well, Shii Ann had a sense of perspective about the game, but while on the jury through the last 2-3 tribal councils, her eyerolling got old fast.
|
Originally posted by cdollaz I disagree totally. She hated Jenna. Thought she was worthless. And if she is a feminist, there is nothing that a feminist likes less than a woman that they consider pathetic. They love strong women, but have no respect for the opposite. |
Yeah, if I had to rank the jury in terms of most crybabyish, Shii-Ann, as much as I did not like her this season, would not be near the top.
1) Lex 2) Big Tom 3) Alicia 4) Kathy 5) Shi-Ann 6) Jenna 7) Rupert |
Originally posted by Groucho Tom never denied that he had a pre-game alliance with Lex...he just dodged the question. |
Not quite. I believe he qualified his statement to indicate that since getting on the island. He admitted there might have been phone calls before hand. It caused me to realize that this is one thing very different about allstars.
They had some idea who the other players were before they started the actual game. Smart to call and make alliances. |
Originally posted by das Monkey That's such a tough call, though. You have to wonder if crying like that actually got him Kathy's vote. |
The conversation was something like this:
Rob: Did you have an alliance with Lex before the game started? Tom*: I had an alliance with you and Amber! Rob: Did you have an alliance with Lex before the game started? Tom: I never broke my alliance with you and Amber! Rob: Did you have an alliance with Lex before the game started? Tom: I don't have to answer to you! das * Tom's comments translated from bumpkin to English |
