Jag 5/7

in tonights episode a young marine gets killed and the media starts harrassing the family right away for interviews. The mother told Cmdr. Rabb that she wants to say how proud her son was to serve his country and the media people keep trying to get her to say she's against the war.
Very good episode, and I thought it was a nice tribute to the troops

I thought this was an excellent episode.

In all the current finger pointing taking place in hearings and such, it seems we have forgotten the personal tragedy of each individual death. Our country is strongest when we stand united.
I was glad the reporter did show up after allowing the family private time to grieve(I know Harm "bribed" him).

Glad to see Bud acknowledge his lost limb, seems to have been almost forgotten this season. Almost afraid that with his comments the ep. was going to turn into total anti propaganda. Glad to see that both sides were presented.

Actually in other episodes when Bud is walking around, he does it with sort of a limp. So while they might not keep saying that his leg is gone, the actor at least remembered and is walking as if he does have an artificial leg.

I thought it was an incredibly lame episode myself - all it contained was emotional puff. Yeah, the media is bad and has an agenda. Even if you don't support the war, appreciate the sacrifice made by the men fighting the war. Tell me something I don't know. The people who watch JAG probably universally do not need to be taught these lessons.

BTW, could Catherine Bell possibly have less airtime?

Taped it and haven't had a chance to watch yet. Maybe I won't.
