What year do you think the Simpsons will call it quits ?
i reckon around 2008
Also do you think they need to introduce another couple of main characters ?

It should have ended back in 1998-1999. The show now is....I don't even want to talk about it. The shows decline in quality is really depressing. Used to be the funniest show on tv.
I hope that the next season is the last.

I think they will keep the Simpsons on long enough to get into the future. I say the year 3000. then they will launch an all new show off of that. just think of the possibilties - they can have aliens and robots and all kinds of neat stuff. it will be a great show. just wait and see.

I predict the show will end on the 20th anniversary with a two hour TV spectacular special extra wonderful final ever episode that will make the cast of Friends green with envy.
And the month preceding the very last final ever episode will be rife with reminiscences, and there will be special shows devoted to "before they were simpsons", and show all the guest stars before and after their appearances on the simpsons. And there will be endless interviews on every late night talk show, oprah, and Jerry springer.
Oddly enough, Butterfingers will print their candy wrappers in black to commemorate the experience.

I don't really want The Simpsons to end. It's one of those things that has just always been there (at least for me, only in my 20s). It's like water, what will happen when it leaves???
If I had to make a guess, I'd say 2007 or maybe after the movie finally comes out.

Sounds wonderful!
I give the show to the point where everyone becomes tired of the declining quality of the scripts and the show just gets a "Married with Children" exit.
Then Fox will have a vaccum where the show was and after canceling 28 quality shows they failed to let gain an audience, they will finally replace the slot with "Glutton Bowl: the series"
