So far, looks like the beginning of a Six Feet Under episode.

Wonder if that really was Edie Falco's booty that Tony B was recording?

Liked the ep. I know many people will think that it was a waste, but I kind of like the family focused eps. and this one did end with a whacking.

I liked the episode, it was pretty funny, and I think (hope) that this really sets the rest of the season on a roll. It really looks like there is a lot that will come out of this episode. But, I guess I shouldn't expect too much, this season has proven really unpredictable. The previews are usually pretty decieving too.

I, for one, very much liked tonight's episode. Getting the family together for Hugh's 75th B-Day proved to be quite entertaining - much more than I anticipated. Tony B is so funny when he gets frustrated or angry - I find myself laughing the most at him.

Did I miss why Carmine Jr's crew wanted that Joe guy whacked? Did he do something specific, or did Carmine Jr's crew just want to kill somebody in Johnny Sack's crew because Sack's crew killed that Lorraine girl?

Actually, he looks at her like that because he is pining for his own daughter who went to Splitsville while he was in the can.

I really liked this ep b/c it finally seems to be getting on track and continuing storylines already started, rather than go off on stories about teachers and AJ's pain in the assness.
I was beginning to think Tony B had something for Meadow (who looks phenomenal), but i think it is him missing his own daughter...he looked pretty sad when seeing Tony S and Meadow fooling around by the pool.
Why the hell does Phil care so much about his passenger seat anyway?!

The last episode, IMO, was probably the most significant thus far. It showed Tony that maybe his mother wasn't really an evil witch by nature (as he always thought), but was driven to be one by the way his father treated her. And he saw himself repeating the behavior with Carmella. A very, VERY important realization for him.

That charactor was horrible and it seemed forced. It didnt feel like it came organicly from the story but a forced detour with a charactor who was only thrown in to make that one revelation.

Okay episode. Tony B is pretty "into" Meadow. He's also come full circle as he looks out for #1, wanting the life/wealth he would have gotten if he didn't get pinched 15 years ago.
The way Carmela talks to her mom is pretty funny at times, no mincing of words, that's for sure.
What's interesting is that for the episode to showcase Big *****'s widow, Big ***** himself showed up on "The Practice" as a bully of a lawyer.

Phil Leotardo just wants a brand new $2000 factory seat, at someone else's expense. Tony is supposed to be paying, but Angie knows she's getting stuck with the bill.
Why are Silvio and Paulie getting so little screen time this year?

Damn good episode. Loved when Hugh fell off the roof. Heh. As some of you have said in the past, I looked at the clock during the show to find it was almost over and was saddened. It was really quick-paced.
Steve Buscemi is a great addition to the show.
Love the character and the actor. He fits in perfectly with the crew. I had a bad feeling the first episode he was in... but I guess the awkwardness with his character was intentionally done.
Even though I know Tony only did it 'cause he was drunk and horny, but I didn't care for him screwing Carmella. Why, Tony, Why?!? You have Valentina and Carm is a bitch. Damn every intimate scene with her.
There wasn't enough Christopher in this episode, but last week made up for it with the shit between him and the junky degenerate gambler. Plus Imperioli wrote this episode and if I recall correctly from one of the commentaries, Michael doesn't like to write many lines for his character. For example, the episode titled "Christopher." He was pretty much in the hospital bed and comatose the whole time.
Last weeks episode was insanely deep. It took a closer look into Tony's psyche and the issues with his parents, showed again how Tony is more emotional about animals than humans. I love how a lot was said... but a lot wasn't said between Tony and his dad's goumada.
Anyway, this episode was pretty decent. Looks like it's building to something grand.
