That sucks! I never really got a chance to watch it.
I saw the first one-- loved it, Morgan and the kids were a hoot, his wife was drop ya sac fine, and they had that pimp guy from the Friday movie.
Damn I would have liked to see some more shows.

Not at all surprising. What was Cracking Up?? It sounds really familiar, but I can't put a picture to it.
The few episodes of The Tracy Morgan Show I saw were kind of funny. The kids were really pretty good.

Cracking up starred Mollie Shannon of SNL. You remember, Mary Katherine Gallagher, Superstar? Hated that character.
I just read on another board that Cracking Up is only on hiatus and the remaining shows will be aired in the summer. Fox will determine whether to renew it. That still isn't a very good sign.

Cracking Up was created by Mike White (School of Rock). They also maintain the Weitz Brothers (American Pie) as consultants. It stars Jason Schwartzman (Slackers and [/b]Rushmore[/b]). I enjoy this show - the last episode had John C. Riley and Amy Sedaris in it (directed by Penelope Spheeris - Wayne's World).
I mean the show's GOT credentials! I guess no one's watching it though...
Tracy Morgan was actually a nice little comedy - as was remarked in a few threads when it debuted. Moving it to Saturday definitely helped kill it. I think the show knew it was suffering since they had Tracy shift jobs from garage mechanic/ower to sports agent mid-season. Too bad really, I always got more than a few chuckles out of that show every week (esp. considering it was a cookie-cutter network sitcom!). The kids were always a hoot.
Morf - TVTome lists Cracking Up as "Canceled/Ended (The rest of the episodes will air this summer)" and Tracy Morgan as "On Hiatus/TBD".

"SNL" alum Tracy Morgan, awaiting official word that NBC has dropped "The Tracy Morgan Show," was back to resurrect his insipid "Brian Fellow's Safari Planet"

I can't stand Molly Shannon. The clip of her doing the cheerleading thing that they showed ad nauseum was enough for me to avoid "Cracking Up" entirely.
As for "Tracey Morgan,"all the ads I saw focused on some annoying Gary Coleman wanna-be kid. Thanks, but no thanks.
