Although I was rooting for Mogo Mogo all along, everyone on that tribe has played so stupidly that nobody from there deserves to win. Strangely, I do have some faith in Kathy to mix things up next week. I'm glad she kept her immunity because she already has some rapport with the original Chapera (although that's probably not worth much seeing how things turned out tonight) and she has a better chance of getting some of them over to her side than Lex would.

I sure hope Rupert gets a clue. Didn't he once say (on the Pearl Islands) that he was the best Survivor ever? From a pure "survival" aspect and physical strength/being good at challenges, maybe, but as far as the "people" side of the game, the guy hasn't got a single clue! C'mon Rupert - wise up to Rob and Amber's plan already!!!

It's called EGO. Rob had to make sure that he made it known to the old Mogo Mogo that HE was the one calling the shots in this game.

Right. But if I remember correctly, almost all people who are "calling the shots" for a good portion of the game don't end up winning, as people get sick of their BS by the end. Hope that happens here.

Lex pulled the "you cant vote me, it's about friendship" speech--but he's just a victim of EXACTLY what he did to Ethan... same speech too

I'm getting soooo sick of Amber and Rob at this point but I am beginning to think they are here for the long run.

Amber survives another week!

I thought the same exact thing. Granted, I don't think they had the same 'deal' as we saw here.

Boston Rob's excuse to Lex (I did what I could) was lame particularly given Amber's hesitance to vote for Lex. I was really rooting for Lex to win that challenge since it would have made next week that much more interesting. Plus I still don't this informing the chicken that it is about to get its head cut off. Boston Rob is in real trouble (2 sure votes against) if he gets to the final-2. Same with Amber.

Kathy (with Shi-Ann) really have to work on Alicia, Rupert and Jenna (2 of 3) next week.

Robowned.

Doesn't anyone else see that he has way to much power?

I certainly do, Jackskeleton.

Rob must go. Not because he's physically the strongest, but because he's the most arrogant.

I could tolerate him before the episode when he went out and speared a bunch of fish to just show up Rupert. After that, I thought he was a complete jackass.

Besides, everyone else has to see that the Rob/Amber alliance is too strong once it got down to the final three. It has to be broken up well before that.

Does this make Lex the biggest tool in Survivor history?

Good episode. Rupert has good taste in women. He picked two of the best looking girls there (Jenna and Amber) to spent the night with him after reward challenge.

I'm glad Lex is gone. He's not smart for voting out Colby and Ethan. Then he made the mistake of not voting out Amber. Now he paid the price.

I'm liking Amber more and more now. I didn't care much for her in Survivor : Australia. But she's hanging in there by a thread and is someone to root for.

What a hypocrite. Lex is always talking about how the game is the game, but friendship is something outside of the game. He screws Colby and then Ethan and starts whining when Rob takes him out? Cry me a river.

And that crap about him sacrificing his "plan" to help Rob is such bullshit. He votes out Amber, and he's gone tonight anyway. His tribe didn't have numbers, plain and simple. Keeping Amber presents the chance to hang around for a while if they form a new alliance, but voting her out guaranteed his death. What a turd.

It's easy choice between Lex and Shii Ann. Shii Ann is not a threat in immunity challenges so she gets to stay around for a while until they are sick of her. Lex is a big threat in challenges so need to be eliminated first.

On one hand, I thought it was nice of Rob to sit down with Lex and explain what was going to happen, and stress that their friendship was still important. But to stand up and shout "YOU GOT SERVED!" after Lex was voted off? That went a bit too far, IMHO.

I've found that the kind of people who will tell you that "business is just business, nothing personal" are usually the first ones to take things personally when the tables get turned.

This surprises me not.

Poor Lex, I thought he was pretty cool. A shame his plan didn't work, but from where I was standing,t hat was kind of obvious. You'd think Rob would have at least given some sort of favor though.

At least recently yes. I don't see how he could have not seen this one coming. He deserves being voted off for being such a moron.

All these people have played this game before you'ld think they would would have half a clue. You can't trust ANYONE! Lex... You idiot!! Rupert WAKE UP!!

I still think Colby taking Tina to the finals down under was a bigger goof than what Lex did on this season.

Where is Johnny Fairplay when you need him? As much as I could not stand him, Rob has now passed him in my hatred of a cast member. I agree with Baring's sentiments on Rob, I liked him until the spearing incident, now he is acting like a bigger jackass than Fairplay did.
Hopefully the other survivors wake up and realize Rob and Amber must be the next 2 to go.

How comes big Tom didnt step in for Lex though? With lex + the other 2 girls, plus big Tom and Rubert + Jenna, they could have easily flipped the tables on Rob and Amber if they would just realize how much control those 2 have.
Most of the other seasons there has always been some power-struggling with the last 9 or 10 people, hopefully this year will be the same.

And how about that Kathy, saying she's giving Lex her immunity and then "I've thought about it, but I'm keeping it"--? Of course Lex said, "Oh no, don't do that," when he should've just said, "OK thanks..."
