Sopranos 4/4/04
Tomorrow's NY Times is going to have an article about Adriana's character speculating that she is going to get killed because she is signed on for the Friend's spinoff.
|
How do you know tomorrow's news? Are you a time traveler?
|
Thanks for telling me the 30-to-1 odds winner from today's Santa Anita Derby. :grunt:

Glad to see the NY Times is so on top of the news. WE'VE been speculating about that since about six months ago - when HBO announced that all the actors had been signed for Season Six, but suspiciously left Drea's name off the list.
|
I put more people on my ignore list from spoilers in the TV forum than I do the rest of this place combined...
|
Wonder if
Spoiler:
|
Okay here's my theory. It probably is silly though.
I think Chris finds out about Adrianna and those shots he fires, are not directed at anyone in particular, but just out of agression. Eventually Tony finds out, and he has a little talk with her. I would like it to turn out that way, but even I'm not to big on it. |
she seemed to be a big part of the prieview. mostly the sopranos doesn't do big twist endings or clifhanger endings like other shows do.
|
This is the summary from HBO.com:
While Christopher is away on business, the Sopranos crew plays a game of "telephone" with a rumor involving Adriana. |

Rumors in the Soprano family can be deadly, and nobody does a thorough investigation of someone like Tony. Adrianna should leave for L.A. and her dimwit, actor, brother now while the getting is good. ;) |
I don't think that Drea de Matteo taking a job on the Joey show necessarily spells her doom for the Sopranos. She could certainly shoot that show around her Sopranos schedule. I just wonder if HBO/David Chase let NBC release the announcment this week just to screw with us Sopranos fans, and she's really coming back?

Yes! This is the Soprano's I love. Almost no AJ, Meadow or the queen bitch Carmella. Oh wait there she is ohhh guess what she's being a bitch. Surprise!
|
I think this was maybe the best episode in the series' history. It had everything that I love about the show.
|
Well, I believe it's silly to even try to guess where this show is going, but that's the way I like it.
Another great episode, very tense, can't wait till next week. |
Wow, What a FANTASTIC episode!!!
|
I never thought I would say this but Pine Barrens has been toped.
|
Best episode of the season IMO. Intense to the end without a doubt, and I loved how they used Buscemi as the moderator and voice of reason. Also, the part where the rumor mill went wild had me rotfl when it got to the conclusion reached by Uncle Junior.
Did I catch a glimpse of that Allison/Florida guy's wife- woman on the clip for next week's ep.? I don't recall seeing her all season but know that she was publicized as being a part of it. |

Another yawner...a real dead dog.
This whole show could be sent in an office building with Tony as the Super and it would be just as interesting. "Look, Tony cleans up the dog doo." "Look, Tony gets mad and jumps up and down." "Someday Carmella, smack, POW! right to the Moon!" wait, he was a bus driver..... |
Tonight's ep was the best one i've seen since Pine Barrens, though that is still my fave....i knew Tony S would go back for that pizza!
Very tense, good action, and very little AJ.:thumbsup: |
"Any gunshot wounds or kneecappings?"
|
Excellent episode. Edge of the seat, intense, heart attack tv.
I don't remember pine barrens episode. Is that the one with the russians? |

Yep, it was a very exciting episode! Can't wait til next week!
|
"What do you have to be stressed about?"
"The war, the Middle East" |
awesome........awesome..... awesome........
Very funny to see the rumor go through the grapevine...... Hilarious.... |
Melfi suggests that Tony be more of a father figure for Adriana, so he takes her to score some coke. Gotta love him.
|
This was the only good episode of the entire season sofar. It's about time.
|
Another fantastic episode in what's shaping up to be the best season of The Sopranos since Season Two. Just perfect, really.
I'm glad that their focusing on taut, compelling drama rather than "whooze getting whacked dis week?!" faux-suspense. Pine Barrens has easily been "toped". |
Great episode. Next week's episode looks good as well.

Tony going back for the pizza was hilarious.
|
Could we please put spoilers upon rumors?
I thought it was an intense episode. I didn't think Tony could be more of a scumbag, but he topped himself this time. Trying to score with Adriana? That's just lower than low. He couldn't relieve his sexual tension with that chick who came in to bring him a drink? |

Originally posted by BlackCapTen Yeah I'm starting to think this is one of the best seasons of the show. |
Originally posted by outcastja Tony going coming back for the pizza was hilarious. Tonight's episode was absolutely fantastic!!! The show is good nearly all the time, but every once in a while there is an episode that far surpasses my expectations for the hour and tonight was one such night. Near perfection! |
Another echo of the praise above. This was the best episode since Pine Barrens for me... Being relatively unspoiled, I certainly didn't expect this season to take a downward spiral on Christopher's life after his drug problems.
Fantastic episode, and next week looks like it's going to rival this one. The scene with Tony and AJ from the preview... About time. |
