Originally posted by BlackCapTen Excellent episode. Edge of the seat, intense, heart attack tv. I don't remember pine barrens episode. Is that the one with the russians? Wait a minute. Nobody got whacked this week. WTF?!?! What a piece of shite episode! I retract all that I previously wrote. ;) |
Yep, it was a very exciting episode! Can't wait til next week!

"What do you have to be stressed about?"
"The war, the Middle East" |
awesome........awesome..... awesome........
Very funny to see the rumor go through the grapevine...... Hilarious.... |
Melfi suggests that Tony be more of a father figure for Adriana, so he takes her to score some coke. Gotta love him.
|
This was the only good episode of the entire season sofar. It's about time.
|
Another fantastic episode in what's shaping up to be the best season of The Sopranos since Season Two. Just perfect, really.
I'm glad that their focusing on taut, compelling drama rather than "whooze getting whacked dis week?!" faux-suspense. Pine Barrens has easily been "toped". |
Great episode. Next week's episode looks good as well.

Tony going back for the pizza was hilarious.
|
Could we please put spoilers upon rumors?
I thought it was an intense episode. I didn't think Tony could be more of a scumbag, but he topped himself this time. Trying to score with Adriana? That's just lower than low. He couldn't relieve his sexual tension with that chick who came in to bring him a drink? |

Originally posted by BlackCapTen Yeah I'm starting to think this is one of the best seasons of the show. |
Originally posted by outcastja Tony going coming back for the pizza was hilarious. Tonight's episode was absolutely fantastic!!! The show is good nearly all the time, but every once in a while there is an episode that far surpasses my expectations for the hour and tonight was one such night. Near perfection! |
Another echo of the praise above. This was the best episode since Pine Barrens for me... Being relatively unspoiled, I certainly didn't expect this season to take a downward spiral on Christopher's life after his drug problems.
Fantastic episode, and next week looks like it's going to rival this one. The scene with Tony and AJ from the preview... About time. |
Anyone know if you can watch the previews of the next episode online anywhere? The channel that has the rights to the show up in Canada doesn't show the preview for next week at the end.
If there isn't any spots to watch anyone care to say what happened in the preview for next week? |
Originally posted by joltaddict "Any gunshot wounds or kneecappings?" Very, very tense episode. Right up until they all walked into Vesuvio's for dinner. Chatter stopped and heads turned, but the damage has been done. Christopher will never trust either of them again fully. |
Great episode, and I love how this season's been coming along.
For some reason though, I get the feeling Tony and Carmella will be back together at the end... |
Very good episode, I thought for sure that Christopher was going to bite it. Another good thing about this weeks episode: NO JANICE!!!!

:up: to this episode. Especially enjoyed the ending. Tony sure knows the right thing to do to set the situation straight.
|
I hated the episode. All the scenes seemed waaay to "forced", and not believable.
Like this: We've NEVER seen Tony do drugs. He often bitched out Chris for doing drugs, he told them to sell it but not do it. |
I didn't like it either. This whole rising tension thing is starting to get to me. It almost seemed like a filler episode where everything is reset at the end. I know Chris losing respect is big but there's a good chance that it won't ever get brought to the front again. Other than that, just more stuff with Adriana and the FBI. Tony does coke and has cancer...first we've heard of it in 5 years. That stuff came outta nowhere, and I wonder if we'll hear of it again?

I too thought that Christopher was going to bite it, and in all honesty, I kind of wanted him to do so. He really is getting to be annoying, and is in no condition to be the head of the family. After last night, I doubt he can ever be trusted to make the right decision again, so the family would be better off w/o him.
I wonder if Adrianna is living with him again or has her own place now? The way things are going, she might be better off just taking jail time and kicking the whole spy thing to curb. Again, who was the blonde on the phone talking about gambling in the preview? She looked familiar but I don't recall seeing her this season. |
