Daily Show 3/30
Anyone see The Daily Show last night? Rob Corddry did a report on a spammer, who referred to himself as a "high-volume email provider." Toward the end Corddry asked the guy if they could put his email address on TV, and the guy said no, and then they started flashing his email on screen anyway.
That guy is going to have a boatload of mail this morning.

That was hilarious. Also a good interview with Clarke. Even when Stewart agrees with someone, I like how he still tries to adopt a somewhat moderate position on things.

The spam thing was hilarious. I think someone should start an ongoing Daily Show discussion thread. I really like the show, and I like to hear what people think of the various segments, but it seems like too much to start a new thread four days a week. Is there any support for an idea like this? I won't start it because my thread ideas seem to die pretty quickly so I don't want to jinx this one.

I don't watch the show, so I really don't see the need for a regular discussion thread.
BTW, I about lost it on Monday when Stewart called that guy from "Crossfire" a douchebag.

Douchebag was letting him off easy.
A recent favorite was Lewis Black's rant on what words and phrases apparently weren't offensive to the FCC, like "cleveland steamer" or "dirty sanchez" etc.

Instead of a daily Daily Show thread, we should just have an ongoing thread to talk about the show as it airs, and then when it gets too long we could just start a new one.

Yeah that's what I thought I suggested. I guess I don't write very clearly.

Go for it.
