The OC 3/31

SPOILERS BELOW

What a great episode!

Marissa was actually pretty good in this episode, for once the Ryan and Marissa drama was intriguing

I have heard rumours that Luke is not returning for Season 2 and may be killed off. Aside from a few good storylines, the character just doesn't quite fit in. First he was the villian, then he was the victim when his dad was outed and he just doesn't quite fit in anywhere.

The Nana stuff was very well done, great story and acting by all. Sandy Cohen just rocks

Summer was gold as usual, not overdone, just right. her line to Seth , "i'm gonna outJew you" cracked me up

Kirsten , boy she is looking hotter and hotter!

I liked the whole eddie/teresa engagement party, was a great place for Marissa to run off to. Eddies mates looked bad, really bad!

overall a great episode and NO OLIVER ! yay!

I would like to see one more mention of Oliver, just a phone call to Marissa saying that Oliver got out of rehab, then he got caught with drugs again and was put in the State pen, then he became the head tough's bit*ch and got ravaged every day and then he eventually died due to 'trauma' to the posterior. Marissa hangs up and says "oh well, by the by"

Really? killed off? this isn't 24 now... but I guess it can still happen.

Anyway... I thought the episode was aiiite [/randy jackson]... Last week was better.

Summer always looks sooo good... I'm starting to miss Anna... hopefully she'll be back.

Seth is the best thing on the show... I like his character a lot.

Am I smokin' something cause I thought there was no Natalie in the first place? Natalie was mentioned when Ryan talked about Oliver.

The actress who did Nana was great...

Please use spoiler tags. I've seen the episode, but its better to use the tags incase someone just stumbles on the this thread without knowing people have already seen the show.

Knivez, Natalie as his girlfriend was made up by Oliver but Natalie the fictional girlfriend was based on Natalie, the receptionist/concierge at the hotel he lived at. That's how they figured out that Oliver was lying.

I have to disagree with you there - I thought his transition into being friends with the gang was great. It definitely wasn't smooth at first, but after a while he seemed to fit into the group really well. If those rumors are true then I'm not going to be all that happy because I think he is a great addition to the show.

I thought this was an excellent episode. It was just as good, if not funnier, the second time around. Summer and Kirsten They both look more amazing each episode. Seth was hilarious as alway, but Summer had the best lines IMO.

This episode left me with a wide grin, love the inter-personal relationships exploding/growing all over the place. Linda Lavin was a good choice to play Sandy's mom. I LOL when Seth told Summer that she could have just read from the book after she memorized the passages.

Absolutely fabulous episode. I laughed more in the first 15 minutes of this show than in most sitcoms over a whole year. Coming from a Jewish background, that stuff was hilarious and spot on (with just a little exaggeration, of course).

I've never liked Linda Lavin but the great writing and great acting by everybody else more than made up for it.

Summer can come over to my house for dinner anytime. Rachel Bilson is one of the most pleasant surprises in tv-land to come along in quite some time.

Sandy was great as always, as was Seth.

They Ryan/Marissa sub-plot wasn't bad for one of the few times that I can remember.

Still very happy that they brought Hayley back. Jimmy Cooper is an accidental pimp.

In regards to the Luke rumor for Season 2 - I hope it's not true, that character has done a complete 180 since the season started and he is a good part of the cast. He has provided quite a few humorous moments over the past few months.

Not really spoiler material, but...
Spoiler:
based the preview for next week's episode, it defintely looked like Luke or Seth on that stretcher. My guess would be Luke, since they obviously wouldn't kill off Seth... unless they're high.

But it could just be an accident and no one dies. Remember the promo for the final Oliver episode? Everyone had a distinct gunshot...but come episode time, not one gunshot in the whole thing. So...previews on Fox don't mean shi*

Actually the rule is you don't spoiler anything from this episode, since the date is on it, and if you don't want to chance reading spoilers than don't come in this thread. You do spoiler previews and RUMORS that may or may not hold water.

I thought Summer was very cute when laying on the bed practicing the questions. The Arnold line was hilarious, and too much other stuff to mention was as well. The only problem I had: Marissa doing the cliched punching the guy's chest until you break down and cry on their shoulder. Come on O.C. you're better than that.

Exactly spainlinx0. If you don't want to be spoiled for the episode, do not visit the thread until after you have seen the show - absolutely no need for spoiler tags when discussing the show that just aired. HOWEVER, this should have most definitely been in spoiler tags since it deals with future episodes and has nothing to do with tonight's episode:

As for the show tonight, I thought it was pretty slow compared to other episodes and I guess just a bit too somber. Had some good parts, but overall, just seemed like filler.

i thought this episode of the oc was the worst ever. Even worse than the psycho oliver episodes. totally lame. boring. just my humble opinion. summer was very cute but that was about it.

I wouldn't say it was that bad, but it wasn't one of my favorites. Except for smacking Luke, the whole Marissa/Ryan half of the episode was pretty lame to me. I was a bit surprised at some of the comments about how awesome this episode was.

The only really funny part was Summer educating herself about Passover.

The "I'm gonna out-Jew you." line was better because it was funnier and it came out of Summer's mouth. She can deliver a line w/ the best of them.
