Hmm, a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Yale University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University.
I'm not saying Bush is a genius, but it takes more than a dummy to earn those degrees.

Not that it wasn't meant as a joke in the first place, hence the wink, but there is such thin skin on Republicans these days. You, Dick, Colin, Condy, and the rest of the gang oughta laugh a little. Like Georgie did when he did that skit on not being able to find WMDs at the Correspondent's dinner.
That was good stuff.

And, when 9-11 happened, I was getting a bagel. Your point?

I think Dr Rice is a bad public speaker much like Bush. It always seems like she's scrambling her words trying to justify things
All Richard Clarke basically said was that the Bush administartion did not take the Al Queida seriously pre 9-11 and that the invasion in Iraq may have derailed the war on terrorism
Two very valid points imo
I don't like they was this administration continually trashes anybody who dares questions their policies..
I thaught Clarke did a great job on Meet The Press too
He even braught his own props. That little card signed by the Preisdent in crappy handwriting telling him what a great job he did was priceless

The note said "Dear Dick, you will be missed. You served our nation with distinction and honor. You have left a positive mark on our government." Where does it say he did a great job? It is a polite "thank you for your service" note.
I think it is funny how when the administration defends itself against inflammatory allegations, with the accusers own words, it is "attacking" them and conducting "character assassination" (not your words, of course). How has the administration "trashed" Clarke?
Also, if you had seen the MTP interview or his commission testimony, it would be clear that Clarke is not just somebody who "dares question their policies", but is making serious (politically or personally motivated) charges against the administration. Charges which many find to be unfounded or exaggerated.

Besides, would you flunk the son of one of your college's biggest financial contributers? I don't think so...

why do republican american voters get so upset when their politicians are questioned for something. they think they are getting personally attacked. and who in their right,or left, mind would admit being a registered whatever. the hill can crumble anytime and i personally wouldn't take blame for their demise. that is why i cant be blamed for voting a certain bumblehead into office, cos i dont vote. only be blamed for sitting back and watching the story unfold, like a sitcom.
