If you have multiple HBO's you could catch it on one of the Alternate channels. Unless they sell exclusive rights for a period of time. I have a feeling that the History Channel probably will be your only shot short of renting DVDs

Yeah, I'd definitely recommend that you consider the DVDs, even as a blind buy. Fantastic set.

Anamorphic and DTS make it all the better over watching on TV as well.

I also recommend the DVD set. It's excellent!!!
Speaking of Band of Brothers, has anyone heard about Band of Brothers 2 that will be set in the Pacific during WW2? I hope it'll be as good as BoB.

mookie: I heard they were thinking about doing another one set in the Pacific. Hopefully they go through with it. I'd also like them to follow a real group of soldiers... I think that's one thing that makes BoB so fantastic... the people you are watching were real soldiers, not fictionalized characters.
BoB is an excellent blind buy. Probably one of the finest WWII films ever made (I like to think of it as a 10 part film, not a TV show). If you don't have the money for the set, rent it. The experience will be much better than watching it on TV (I would imagine THC will have commercials and cut out the profanity, but they are cable, so who knows).
