It was on since 99 but thanks to Fox's crappy line up, they always pre-emped it for sunday football and left it unpromoted at the 7pm time slot. East Coasters rarely got to see it. No, it never got a traditonal series finale. they left it at simply not wanting to order more episodes. It appeared they had more then enough episodes back ordered because of the football pre-empts and fox's treatment of giving it a much shorter season run.

So without new episodes to create the staff had to move on to other projects as I'm sure rent was due and so forth.

The closets thing we had as a season finale was one episode that they just choose to have it end on the note that fry and leela ending up together in a sense.

This is a response from the duplicate thread I created by mistake and was closed. Link Sorry if this off topic and sounds mean but...This is to the following people:

Lara Means
Jordan Raup
the aftermath (calling me dumb?)
Jackskeleton (try searching before you type! You'll see it doesn't apear!)

YES, I did try to search using the word "Family" in TV Talk for the Past 3 months and NOTHING, let me say that again, NOTHING, comes up! You call me an idiot? Try it yourself before you make comments in the future! I think some people need to grow up, mainly the ones listed above! I had to manually find this thread.

Sorry for my crudeness last night, I'm unhappy when I don't get my Chappelle's Show fix

And next time, don't do a search from 3 months ago, Use "Any Date" instead. That way you can be certain.

I just tried a search for "family" in all forums (due to the fact this news was posted in the DVDTalk forum several time too) and came back with 3013 threads over 121 pages. I would imagine the search engine would explode with an "any date" search.

Chill out bro. You were a bit harsh in the last thread. It was a mistake. Let it go.
