It would have been better if Nick would have been drinking water when Amy said "Bill is my strongest competition" in the board room. His reaction was priceless.

I'll miss those legs too.
I still don't get the point of that challenge. Did their raffles/wheel spinning actually bring people into the casino to gamble? It sure didn't seem like it to me. It almost seemed like they cost the casino money. Those were both lame giveaways too - spin the wheel for a chance to win $1000? Of course that was outdone by a $300 rental car credit.
At least they finally had a kick-ass reward for the winners.

OK, so I'm confused here:
Versacorp gives away over $1000 cash (there were other prizes on the wheel, remember?). Protege gives away a $300 rental car credit they got for free. How is this fair? Does that prize money come out of seed money for the task? (I think they get some; that's how
hired a contractor for the crappy apartment a few eps back). If they are given this money, that "rent a car sorta like this" promo was even lamer than I thought. If not, does it come from the tables or what?

I didn't undertsand the car rental either??..The dealer would not have just given them the car for FREE even in return for publicity would he??
Amy was right when she said Katrina used too much of her sexuality. Now we know why she so successful in her real estate business in Miami (?).
Amy: "Let's cut the b.s. and talk business"
Although Katrina looked amazing in her short skirts her personality was really annoying. She was very whinny!. Everything was apperently Amy's fault she wasn't doing better. Could it be that her ideas were simply lame??..Belly Dancers in a casino??
I thaught Amys explanation for keeping Nick around was very smooth too. "He's a tougher competitor then Katrina". She was able to side step the whole notion that it might be because they have the hots for each other although Katrina did try to use that against her in the boardroom but it didn't work
Trump made the right choice considering her overall contribution so far she's earned the right to stick around
ps. Anybody else notice Nick's big grin when he got back on the elevator..priceless

What they should have done is cut a deal with the car dealer for a brand new car to give away. Have one person work the VIP check in area, have one person go outside and bring customers in, and have one stay and work the raffle, hand out the cards. They would have probably tripled their gamblers, and easily paid for the car with the increased play.

Even the boys with the 1000 dollar giveaway were not really trumping it up at all.
Had the girls managed somehow to get a car then Trump would have railed on the guys for only offering the chance at a 1000 dollars.

The raffles, etc, were not an incentive to gamble--but an incentive to have your card (which tracks your spending) scanned by the team.
"Let us scan your card, and you get to spin our wheel"

Great editing last night:
(paraphrasing)
"What we don't have is shock value"
*ROAR*
Doors creep open. Young children cower in fear. Thus enters The Tiger.
And the whole "dueling banjos" theme between the two teams on the microphone.
Mark Burnett knows how to produce a TV show.

Perhaps it was the editing (or my selective memory), but it seemed like Amy handled herself in the boardroom significantly better than everyone else. All the women (except for Christie who just sat there) got very emotional, and all the men stammered and stumbled through their defenses. Trump seemed to grill Amy harder than most of the others (probably because he's considering hiring her), and she still handled it pretty damn well.

Was the car rental give-away Amy's idea or not? (I was flipping between the NCAA games and the Apprentice). Because I was wondering if Amy was really clueless as to whose bad idea that was, and if she was trying to spread the blame for the idea by "not remembering...".
What was good to see was Amy writing down her bullet points (and paragraphs) to defend her actions in the competition, and to arm herself with pointing out deficiencies of her teammates. That's better preparation than to just sit there and take it like Kristie and later Jessie.
I bet Katrina looks like crap in the morning without her makeup, though.
7 weeks in a row that a woman went back down to the street. Hmm...
