I kind of wonder if I'd enjoy the first half now that I know what happened to Syd over the past couple years. Most my frustration with the first half of this season is that I kept feeling like they weren't going anywhere with the overall plot.

Nice to see Dixon being useful for a change! Oh I can't wait to see SpyDaddy lay the smackdown on Lauren. That will make the entire season worth while I have to say.

What a great episode. The end was AWESOME! Jack is my favorite character on the show. He just seems to be smarter than any of the others. How much of an A-hole is Lauren's dad? I keep getting the feeling as well that there will be a MAJOR cliffhanger at the end of this season.

Maybe the cliffhanger is that Sloane reveals that he's Syd's father! Oh wait...nevermind...

If Lauren gets found out... okay, forget that, she's going to get found, the only question is when. When Lauren gets found out, I wonder if we'll see Jack & Vaughn bond a little bit more? They'll have both been taken advantage of by undercover bad girls. Thus setting up the Season 4 Vaughn and Syd wedding!
I'd love to see Jack put a bullet in Lauren's pretty little head, just like he did with frizzy-haired-CIA-double-agent in Season 1 (or 2, I forget). But doubtful... I think a lot of people are uncomfortable with male-on-female violence, even in a fictional show.

I have this strong urge to go out and buy a GE airplane engine today.
What was the point of that product placement? Go out and buy an F-150, sure. Go out and buy an airplane?

I just watched it and thought it was good
Liked the ending with the light going on in Jack's head.
My big problem is with how they handled the Sloane set-up. This was a man that they couldn't get for years and now he's actually going to be that sloopy and leave a trail that they could figure out that easily and they don't ecen question it. That was the big problem I had.

Yes awesome episode! God i hope the beatdown of Lauren is explicit and violent, let's hope the producers of the show have been watching some Japanese films like Female Market, Guts of a Virgin or All night long for ideas
Yes i loved the booty shot, all it needed was some red thong to be peeking above them jeans .......
Jack is definitely my fav character, Dixon was great in this episode also and Marshall must be the best supporting character on any show on TV at the moment
Having Sloane lurking in the background with loyalty unknown is also cool. Happy that Sloane got some
Sark is friggin evil! he rocks!
Should be a good season runout

Me thinks Jack will be doing some deliberate poisoning of Covenant intel via their double-agent before exposing her (chew her up a little before spitting her out). I also have to wonder what may happen with Lauren (go triple agent?) after she was registering concern about how Sark was torturing Dixon during the kidnapping.
BTW Static Cling....

Is Sloane working with Lauren or not? Either:
1) Lauren found out that the psychiatrist had traveled to see Sloane, and for that reason, used her log-in to access the FAA files, or...
2) Sloane invited the psychiatrist to see him for the sole purpose of Lauren being able to pin the file access on her while she was there (and to get a little nookie in the meantime).

While EITHER is possible, it is too obvious and unlikely for this show. I do not think Sloane is working with Lauren (at least not on this). I think Sloane knows Lauren is the mole but had his own motivations for getting close to Judy Barnett (who BTW is married to Ken Olin). Sark and Lauren got wind of that intel and simply decided to frame up Barnett and/or Sloane. Sloane was nabbed so quickly that I don't believe anyone has yet considered that Barnett was WITH Sloane... that will surely come up later on.

Does anyone think he will tell Dixon or Syd, maybe Weiss, about this? I think he will fly solo for awhile and do some leg-work. He isn't going to want to tip his hand too early.

Did they ever say at the end of the episode what the consequences would be for Dixon? At the end, everyone acted like evevrything was hunky-dory, but Dixon did steal from the CIA and give a valuable piece to the Covenant. And I think they knew Syd helped him, right?

In the real world, I can't imagine Dixon would have actually gone on the rescue mission. That was a huge mistake, since he's too emotionally vested.
And I hope they start to cut back on the "Sark getting away" storylines, as it's getting silly at this point. Telling someone that the last episode of Alias involved Sark almost getting caught is like describing an episode of Gilligan's Island by saying "In this one they almost get off the island!"
