Arrested Development Reminder

Just another reminder that there's an extra episode of Arrested Development on tonight at 9:30... co-starring Julia Louise-Dreyfuss!!! As far as I know, this is a new episode!

Also- if anyone is interested in this show (which I think is the funniest new show on tv right now!), there is a marathon of the first 6 episodes on FX Channel this sunday, starting at 2:00.

Check out this show if you haven't already!!!!

Crap, could there be anything else on TV tonight? Keen Eddie, Survivor, Chappelle's Show, South Park and now Arrested Development.

It's weird there all these network shows on tonight as a different night. Thankfully none of my usual Wednesday night shows are on.

I thought it was a great episode.

The seeing eye dog in the park and Henry Winkler out hunting for prostitutes were both hilarious.

Pretty amusing, but not bust out funny, but it appears to mainly set up Sunday's upcoming episode.

Can't wait to see how the non-blind prosecutor subplot plays out. I did bust out laughing at Tobias rolling on the kitchen counter in an effort to avoid the "blind" prosecutor in the "on the next episode..." bit.

This show is so brilliantly funny, it would be absolutely criminal to not let it continue. The quick sight gags leave me rolling on the floor. The Fonz moment in the bathroom was golden.

I was waiting for Amy Poehler to make a guest appearance on the show as she's married to Will Arnett(Gob) in real life. Great episode IMO, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss was hilarious. Should be interesting to see how the case against George Sr. progresses now.

Do the right thing. String the blind girl along so dad doesn't have to repay his debt to society.

Bravo. Best episode yet.

You've just won the gold medal in the Sexual Special Olympics!

I'm going to trial because you don't know the meaning of a Blooper reel.

Your father and his incessant tweaking. That's why I wasn't able to breast feed any of you.

... and props to my wife for catching the joke that Maybe's ficticous twin sister is named Shirley.

Hopefully, the timeslot last night gives the show enough boost to stick around.

I think Julia could stand to take some blind lawyering tips from Matt Murdoch.

Great episode last night. I loved it when Fonzie pulls up to the street hooker and asks, "Are you one of those silly men dressed up as a woman?" When she says "no", he drives away.

What Fonzi gag?

Sorry, I was trying to get a friend caught up on the show and was doing commentary during some parts.

Loved the flash-backs/shots of Gob's "date" -- the one where it looks like they're robbing the convenience store cracked me up.

I can't wait to see the marathon on Fox.

Henry Winkler looks into a bathroom mirror to comb his hair, but decides it's perfect as is (in the same manner Fonzie always did).

It's very subtle and quick. It's at the end of the scene where Michael, Gob, and the lawyer are in the men's room.

The show is too funny. It would be a sin if this show goes the way of the dodo while steaming piles like whoopi, happy family,i'm with her, according to jim and still standing are still on the air.

Talk about catering to the lowest common denominater.

These are the reasons why I am finding myself weaning myself each season from the drek that is being put on the air.
I used to watch thursday nbc from 7-10. Now I only make time for Friends. I used to watch cbs on monday from 7-9. Now I may watch some monday...but King of Queens is the one show I make time for(and it's been moved wednesday). Tuesday(another nbc mensa decision) is only good for Scrubs. Even Fox Sunday can hardly keep my attention...and that is only because of Arrested Development. I like Malcolm and the Simpsons...but the cancellation of futurama and addition of the festering crapload that is oliverbeene made that one more night when selective viewing is the norm for me.

FOX moved into the lead at 9 p.m. with a 10.5/17 average. The conclusion of "American Idol" jumped up to 14.9/23 and was followed by "Arrested Development," which dipped to 6.1/10 (still way above its season average).

Well if this doesn't help bring new viewers to the show, nothing will!

Chris
