In light of the Dish debacle: which 3 stations can you NOT live without?
If they pulled the plug on three stations, which would hurt the most?
For me, it would be hard to pick any I couldn’t live without until I factor NASCAR into the mix. That leaves me with NBC, Fox, and Fx as the ones that do the greatest damage.

NBC, ABC, and Turner Classic Movies are the stations I watch most often.
Followed pretty closely by the Cartoon Network, ESPN Classics, and the History Channel.

Right now:
Gol TV (Italian and Spanish football)
WB (Angel)
HBO (The Sopranos)
But I don't watch very much TV, I have to admit.

Speed is about the only one I can't do without.
I won't mention the locals because I can get them OTA. Not having HBO-HD, HDnet or HDnet Movies would be a loss but I could pop in a DVD and get over it real quick.
OLN is nice to have during the cycling season. Got to have it during Le Tour de France.
I might find a show every once in awhile on the other channels, but nothing I couldn't live without.

Depends on the time of year, but typically:
ESPN
Comedy Central
Fox Sports World
Realistically, almost every show I watch can be acquired through alternate means ... and worst case I can wait for the DVDs for 90% of my favorite series. Major sporting events could be watched from bars if necessary. But my life would be lost without my daily dose of PTI and The Daily Show, and Fox Sports World is just too hard to find elsewhere.

for me, HBO, Comedy Central and prolly food network, maybe fox. I don't watch a whole lot of tv but those are the channels I watch when I do turn it on. I was thinking of ditching cable for dish network, glad I didn't. but I'll prolly get into DirecTV sooner or later...
What was the deal with that whole thing anyway? did dish ditch em? if so why? or did the channels ditch dish network? if so why?
