Did anyone watch Cracking Up tonight?
Good premise. Not a great pilot, though. I may check it out once or twice more, since I like Chris MacDonald and Jason Shwartzman.

It was indeed very predictable, you knew that the "kid" was the only normal person in the household as soon as you see him pop his head in the door.
Anyway, I'll probably still watch at least another episode.

I'll echo the senitments above, predictable "Fox"-y sitcom.
BUT, Jason Schwartzman was just awesome. He did so many little things so very well. Nicely understated performance with all the ga-ga around him. I was pleasantly surprised, as I didn't enjoy Rushmore.

I thought it was decent enough to keep watching. I believe they are showing another new episode tonight btw. If they do this right, I could possibly rank it up there close to (but not as good as) Arrested Development. IF they do it right.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned Mike White. I missed it and had to have my friend tape it for me, but I'll watch it as long as Mike White's involved. I wish I could find out who's written the episodes beyond the pilot, though.

I thought it showed a lot of potential. Kinda like Malcom in the Middle (sane kid surrounded by insanity). Hopefully once they establish the characters the show will get better. I didn't laugh during the show much, but I also didn't turn the channel (which is a good thing since my self diagnosed A.D.D. usually gets the best of me)
I've got it as a season pass on my TiVo, so I'm going to give it a chance.

I didn't see last night's ep, but the best part of the show tonight was Zooey Deschanel and she isn't even a part of the cast - she just had a guest spot.
Schwartzman's good w/ what they give him, but it seems pretty mediocre so far.
I did like when Tanner told Zooey that he "liked the tattoo above her butt."

I actually enjoyed it. I recorded it by mistake and then watched it. Four times I was laughing (which is damn good for me and sitcoms). I'll give it another shot. I was worried when I heard it was by the people who created School of Rock, because I hated that movie.
