Patman 02-29-04 08:42 PM

Annie Lennox!

Venusian 02-29-04 08:42 PM

why does she keep puttign the glasses on when she gets out there? put them on before

dom56 02-29-04 08:43 PM

Yea! Annie Lennox. :)

Venusian 02-29-04 08:44 PM

there was no song in the movie...songs in credits shouldnt count

wmansir 02-29-04 08:44 PM

You know what is funny? A 2 hour movie get's nomitated for Best Picuture and you are lucky to see 1 minute of it on Oscar night, but 30 seconds of a song get's put in a movie and you get the hear the entire thing on Oscar night.

This is such a waste of time.

Autotelik 02-29-04 08:44 PM

jeez. what's with the songs nominated this year. horrible! HORRIBLE!

spainlinx0 02-29-04 08:45 PM

Why does Oscar love Musak?

mikewendt 02-29-04 08:45 PM

Peter Jackson looks like he tied one on at happy hour...

mikewendt 02-29-04 08:46 PM

What happened to cool songs getting nominated... Like "Uncle F//ka"

correction Blame Canada... My bad

Patman 02-29-04 08:46 PM

I take it none of these songs got a lot of raido play?

Dr. DVD 02-29-04 08:46 PM

I predict tonight's upset will be in Best Actress. I think Diane Keaton will walk away with it.

Also, glad they cut off the songs at three, I couldn't take two more times of looking at Liv in her librarian mode.

Calculon 02-29-04 08:47 PM

"Uncle F//ka" was definetly not nominated

Lara Means 02-29-04 08:47 PM

The Annie Lennox song is good, but she was just too ugly for me to sit and watch the entire performance.

I think this is just an intermission. Sorry.

Venusian 02-29-04 08:48 PM

blame canada was, wasn't it?

Patman 02-29-04 08:48 PM

Too bad they didn't just flash all the artwork in the closing credits for ROTK during that last song.

When's she not? I remember when she did one performance with Raccoon like face paint.

Calculon 02-29-04 08:51 PM

Blame Canada was nominated. Robin Williams performed it, IIRC.
