We saw a bit of the old Joey in this show as well. I thought the escrow joke was pretty good (
) and him calling the girl at the end, and talking to the bear about his career. Stuff thats irreverent, showing him to be dumb but good-hearted.
Some of the other stuff he's been doing in the past few weeks makes it seem like he's missing a chromosome or something...

I agree with everything said - this episode was hilarious. That little girl was quite a good actor. What else are we supposed to know her from? I've never heard that name before.

I loved this episode. Probably the best episode in like 2 years.
@ the Joey room
Dakota Fanning had a great part. Loved it when they talked at the end and with the bear.
I didn't see the Rachel firing/possibly moving to Paris storyline. That should be interesting especially with Ross getting tenure. I could actually see him quitting the professorship and moving to Paris with Emma and Rachel.

I think she's used that alias since the first season.

The funny thing about the Bananahammock name is that I had the exact same reaction as Phoebe when they used the word on Scrubs a few years ago -- I thought it was just a nonsense word (it was the episode where there's an awkward silence J.D. tells himself he has to say something out loud, so he says "banana hammock."). It was only in a later episode, in which the Todd used the word in context, that I realized what a banana hammock is.

I honestly thought she was going to take this name too. But thought the new one was just as funny. If not funnier.
Yes, the Joey/escrow thing was his best bit last night. Definitely his funniest line lately. Very very funny.

Great show all around
. It seems like the show's leading up to the group going their separate ways for the series finale, esp. after Rachel's Paris announcement. Add another "awww...
" for Gunther - i know the Ross & Rachel thing's almost inevitable, but i can't help rooting for the underdog

Definitely a great episode, btw. A little uneven, but more laughs than I've had watching Friends in a long time.

I thought the whole Phoebe name change was stupid. The writer's have to think of something better.

Also, was anyone else kind of sad when they saw Craig Robinson, Mutha from FX's short-lived yet excellent Lucky, reduced to a clerk with a whole 4 lines? Boy, I miss that show...

Agree. I hated his character at the beginning. He's not so bad now.

Princess Consuela Bananahammock and Crap Bag were some of the truest laughs I've had in awhile.
I'm smiling while writing this now.
