Chappelle's Show 2/25/04

"Thank you bitches!"

 Dave Chappelle as Lil' Jon

Pardon me madam, will this be reflected on my frequent flyer miles

the aftermath 02-25-04 09:39 PM

"Spambusters, bitch!"

JoeyOhhhh 02-25-04 09:44 PM

 Chappelle as Lil' Jon, that is hysterical

The internet skit was pretty funny

Chappelle going out of preppy/ghetto Lil Jon is awesome.

GRANNY DON'T!!

That might be this weeks most popular phrase, for me anyway.

Daryl 02-25-04 09:58 PM

I'm not really feeling this week's episode, with the exception of the "keeping it real" segment (especially when he got his ass beat in the club). The internet skit seemed like easy comedy: given the premise, which was good, the jokes were obvious targets (pop-up ads, porn, spam, music downloads, etc.).

the aftermath 02-25-04 10:20 PM

Yeh, wasn't really close to his usual standards, but no show is perfect ;)

"Would you like to see naked pictures of Halle Berry from Swordfish?"

"OF COURSE I would!"

MrX 02-25-04 11:51 PM

The keeping it real skit was pretty funny. Granny calling him a punk bitch:lol:

I didn't really care for the rest of it.

spainlinx0 02-26-04 12:35 AM

I just loved the spambusters line.

dancinns 02-26-04 12:47 AM

Can't forget about. "Skeet skeet skeet"

And the goat play, "Sure why not?" Dave's expression after he came back out was priceless.

SirPablo 02-26-04 01:07 AM

I like the "Where can I get some music?"

"Well you can get it there... (points to a download kiosk), or you can get it over there (mob running in and out of store)"

Next scene, Dave walking away with a bag labeled "Free Music" lol.

Damn Pop-Ups!!!

Okay, I've been singing that song for months. What's skeet?

In all, a pretty disappointing ep. But Dave was due a clunker, after the phenominal run he's had lately.

Higher hopes for next week.

Bitches.

MJKTool 02-26-04 12:02 PM

I agree this episode was somewhat of a letdown compared to his other one's, but I still had a few great laughs!

SomeVoices 02-26-04 03:22 PM

Next week's episode looks to be funny. Simply seeing Chappelle look exactly like Samual L. Jackson from Pulp Fiction had me busting up.

Red Dog 02-27-04 12:54 PM

The Keepin' It Real and Internet skits were very funny. I enjoyed this one more than the previous ones - not really into the Charlie Murphy Hollywood stories.

monkeyboy 02-29-04 12:50 AM

I really wish he'd get rid of the musical guests. The show just goes by too fast. Fortunately this week it ended quickly, I thought the Lil John stuff was pretty lame.

Still the best comedy on television.

Copenhagen 02-29-04 12:51 AM

WHAT?

Buck Turgidson 02-29-04 12:57 AM

Oh-kaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!
