Don't really like the musical guests either, but the internet skit was hilarious. The rest was so so.

who/what is lil john?

I thought it was great. The internet skit was hilarious and the Keeping it Real was my favorite.

 think about the scetch, then tune to mtv any given day of the week, listen for a simple beat and someone with braids holding a pimp cup and screaming "eee-yay!"

Yeah they need to cut the musical guests out pronto. If they are done in the form of a skit (John Mayer) then that's cool, but the music acts are boring, not to mention out of place.

And they're not even 'live'! I mean not in front of the live audience they have there. For example they had ludicris, and he's performing in some warehouse/set- yawn.

skeet skeet skeet!!!

I didn't really dig the lil jon stuff when it aired, but it's gets really funny with each repeat viewing, IMO.

Timber 03-01-04 08:36 PM

I didn't really think it was that funny either. But now whenever I hear a lil John song now I can't stop laughing. So I guess it had the desired effect.

Oh and I usually really enjoy the musical guests. Ludacris and DMX were good. I wasn't feeling the guest from last week though.

HitManX 03-03-04 01:25 AM

The Lil' Jon skit had me cracking up, as did the Internet skit. They do need to get rid or shorten the time for the musical guests though....doesn't really fit in with the show.

Keeping it Real was funny....."momma no"..... me up

Damn, this thread is only two pages. The least you could do is read it first. You'll find your answer on page one.

Sorry, but there are a few Chappelle threads going now and I thought I had read this one already. Sure they are dated, but like that means anything. :D
