GuessWho 02-20-04 11:56 AM

9/11 was only 5 months ago. I think you mean 9/11/01 ;)

BDB 02-20-04 11:56 AM

the guesswho pet peeve strikes again

MJKTool 02-20-04 01:00 PM

That was alot of milk he drank! Wonder how he felt afterwards

Patman 02-20-04 01:10 PM

It would have been funny if Joey suddenly started speaking perfect French after downing all that milk.

I would still have to go with Joey's Vegas hand-twin as worse than his faux French.

Ok episode though by the end I was like "Did anything happen?" I mean this was pretty much another filler episode except for a TINY bit of Ross & Rachel which will undoubtedly come back before May.

I think there are only 5 new episodes left. "The One With Princess Consuela" is next and then nothing but repeats until May I guess (the final four episodes). :(

it starts back in april, and the final episode (a 1 hour 2 parter) is may 6 or 7th

Probably just fine. Most of it ended up on the floor.

MJKTool 02-20-04 03:25 PM

No way, most went into his mouth from what I saw.

Shannon Nutt 02-20-04 03:48 PM

Whatever chemistry David and Jennifer had together as actors seems to be gone...they recited their dialogue horribly tonight...very poor delivery.

Matt LeBlanc remains the best reason to watch the show - which gives me hope for his spinoff series. Granted, the writers didn't give him much to work with tonight, but the drinking of the milk was hilarious...it almost seemed as if Matt threw that into the script as a treat for the studio audience - I wouldn't be surprised if he did.

[And just for the record, it was longer than 10 seconds and most of it DID go on his shirt and the floor...but it was still damn funny!]

I guess we watched different episodes. ;)

MJKTool 02-20-04 04:18 PM

Well....it was alot, how about that :D

I'm not a regular viewer any more, but about this episode:

The start of the Rachel/Ross thing. Again. I'm assuming this will play itself out to the inevitable you-know-what in the final episode.

Chandler-Monica was actually the funniest thing this ep. though I did catch the Statue thing. I realize this show is all escapist, but that was glaring. The funniest part about the 'thing we never do' is that Chandler seemed to gain new respect for the killer when Monica confirmed it. ;)

Joey - after watching this episode I'm starting to think he is retarded.

I will certainly be watching the new show. Keeping my fingers crossed that it's funny.
Has any of the other cast been set yet? Please tell me there won't be a precocious kid, constantly beating Joey in a battle of wits.

fumanstan 02-20-04 08:22 PM

I could care less about Monica and Chandler. Joey was funny, but i agree, the French got old. I want to see Ross and Rachel get back together for good.

Patman 02-21-04 06:59 AM

Enjoyed Rachel's highbeams on display once again.

Michael Corvin 02-21-04 08:52 AM

Liked the Ross/Rachel thing. I thought they worked great together. he's her lobster. Joey got old real quick until the retarded brother comment. Shovel killer was great.

Goldberg74 02-21-04 09:36 AM

"With Ross and Rachel it's never off the table."

pezboy 02-21-04 10:21 AM

"Shovely Joe..."

Draven 02-24-04 10:20 AM

Loved the entire episode. I think the entire season has been great

I thought every plot was hilarious. Included Joey speaking French. I love it when Phoebe gets frustrated with the group.

B.A. 02-24-04 12:12 PM

The Joey speaking French sub-plot was funny at first, then got old, then it was saved w/ Phoebe telling the director to be nice because he is her retarded kid-brother. The ten second milk binge was fantastic.

Ross and Rachel was pretty good, particularly Ross.

For the first time in a long time, I liked the sub-plot involving Monica and Chandler. She was subdued and he was down right funny.

FuzzyBallz 02-24-04 01:56 PM

I hate Joey. Phebs should've pulled a gun out and shot him. Rose w/ Dr. Green scenes are always funny.

Originally posted by Charlie Goose By the way, Chandler & Monica, the Statue of Liberty has been closed to the public since 9/11. Nice research.
Uhhh, right. In case you haven't checked, Friends is not a reality TV show.

Uhhh, I'm not uhhh sure what your uhhh point is. It takes place in NYC which, in case you haven't checked, is an actual city. So it stands to reason that some reality needs to be uhhh applied.
