Agreed with what's been said, another filler episode with no resolution. I thought the first half of the episode was pretty good, since it seemed like we might get a character/realtiy-based story, but by the end it turned into another FOTW. That chick did look smoking in his bed though.
Adam turned evil as quickly as Lex's ex-wife did. I'm all for plotlines moving quickly (see Alias), but on Smallville it's so herky-jerky it's not believable.

I loved this episode. The season is back on track. I thought the first half of the season (with a few minor exceptions) was terrible, but once Lex was put in the loony bin things got better. I'm excited about Smallville again.

God forbid there be another person with "powers" who lasts more than 1 episode.
There was really an opportunity here for the writers to use the Alicia character for so much more. Perhaps a multi-episode story arc where after having spent time with Alicia, Clark would realize that ultimately, the fact that they both have "powers" isn't much more than a superficial bond. That the successful relationships he has with the people in his life (his parents, chloe, pete, lana) are based on something more substantial than shared special abilities. Combine that with a parallel storyline where Adam reveals his truths/secrets to Lana; something that causes Lana come to the realization that some facts about other people are best kept in secret. Then maybe, just maybe, I can buy into those scenes at the end of every episode where Clark and Lana grasp endlessly in search for that relationship that could never be.
But alas, Alicia is just another freak of the week. One who Clark falls in love with and tries to kill someone he loves. Yes, I can still remember Alicia's previous appearance on the show, when she was known as "crazy native american girl who morphs into white dog".
PS: One wonders why a teleporter would ever use an elevator in the first place. Or why Pa Kent didn't walk into Clark Kent groping and kissing an imaginary air girl.

Actually, a funnier, (though Rated NC-17) idea who have Clark doing the nasty with Alicia (with her facing Clark and sitting on his lap as shown when the Kents barged in) and then have her *bamf* away, leaving Clark and his manhood exposed in an aroused state. That would be a funny sight gag.

I liked this episode, but one thing did bother me - why did they have to make Alicia turn into a pscyho so fast. I think it would have been nice if they had been dating for a while and she started to freak out. IMO she is better looking than Lana and I would have liked to see her for a while. I actually liked her smile
Of course I still think the hottest girl that has ever been on Smallville was the Native American chick who turned into a wolf - I know she "died" but bring her back already.

Originally posted by Jonny2k1 I read this post after I made mine, but I couldn't find Sarah listed as previously being on Smallville. But after further research (googling) the girl who played the Indian (Kyla) was Tamara Feldman.
Which begs the question: Does wearing a lot of pink and being extremely insecure qualify as the set of powers Lana got from her Kryptonite exposure?

All I have gotten out of these 2 episodes, is the distinct impression that if Lana had some sort of freakish ability, Clark would be all over her.
