Surreal Life ~ Feb. 8
Wow. This show just keeps getting better. Highlights for me...
The book signing was great. Good to see Tammy in her element. I was actually as moved as the rest of the cast by her speech. Not to mention her singing "Ice Ice Baby" on the way there. Vanilla was loving it! So was I!! Great stuff.
Sitting around the fire pit with drunk Trishelle. It's official, they need to get her wasted every episode from here on out.
Grilling with Erik and Vanilla. Traci is such a hypocritical Vegitarian. Wearing a leather hat while she's condemning them for eating meat.
The porn pool party was okay. It was better when they were all hanging out before the clothes came off. It sucks that Tammy is so sensitive to that, but I wish they would have held off so she could have stayed. She was really having a good time.
I didn't care for the Rick James or Andy Dick segments. Rick James just pissed off Vanilla, which was funny, but it didn't really add anything to the rest of the show. Andy Dick is annoying and wasn't even close to funny. All he did was take advantage of a super drunk chick, not that I feel sorry for Trishelle, but Andy is still a douche bag.
Can't wait for the nudist colony next week!

Great episode. Ice discovering the real Tammy Faye was terrific. And Trishelle is just hysterical. What a mess! Of course, laughing at full-blown alcoholism is kinda weird but she begs for it.

Very doubtful that an "uncut" DVD will be released of ANY of the seasons. These aren't porn stars (well, except for Ron
) and I'm sure there are "no-nudity clauses" in their contracts.
I don't know if it's even realistic to expect DVDs of this show at all. There haven't even been any rumors for the first season as far as I know.

It was interesting to see how well-received Tammy Faye was, I was a little surprised by that. Andy Dick is a moron, I don't know why he was getting on Trishelle, IMO I really don't think he is straight. Traci is a complete hypocrite, plain and simple. A few of those girls at Ron's party were just disgusting. One of the girls was overweight and had forgotten to shave her armpits...since '92 - bleh.
This show is funny and mildly entertaining, but I doubt it ever makes it to DVD. Of course that's what I thought about Simple Life, and it made it to DVD before it hit the air.

I'd love Surreal Life (both seasons) on DVD.
I always say this but for anyone pleasantly surprised by Tammy Faye, go watch the documentary The Eyes of Tammy Faye, a good documentary about her. It really gives a lot of insight.

I actually didn't think this episode was as entertaining as previous eps, but I loved the book signing. Tammy Faye i smuch more open-minded that I thought, and I cannot blame her for not liking the bbq at home. I don't think I would want a bunch of people taking their clothes off, especially some of those women that did. The fat woman with the body tattoo was disgusting!
I thought the last half of the show was a bit boring and Traci is such an idiot. When she was going on about eating meat I kept saying "she's wearing a leather hat!" Luckily Erik Estrada heard me.

I thought it was funny after Tammy Faye mentioned that she would never push her beliefs on somebody, Traci Bingham pretended that she learned a lot. She then proceeds to try and cram her beliefs about eating meat down her castmates throat!
What's funny is that Corey Feldman did the exact same thing last season...got on everybody's case for eating meat even though he was wearing leather.
Vanilla Ice has toned it down quite a bit. I wonder if the producers had to have a talk with him?

Traci is quickly becoming the Corey Feldman of this season. What a frickin hypocrite!!! I like everyone else on the show. Ice has really toned down his anger since the first couple of episodes. Trishelle's just funny to watch. Ron and Eric are the coolest. Tammy continues to impress me. I really liked her book-signing. Can't wait for next week!
