damn, my girl Christina is so fine. She sounded amazing. Much better than that $2 whore Brittney. ;)

"In the beginning, there was the Beatles" - and then YOU BROKE THEM UP!!!

Joeboo835 02-08-04 08:29 PM

White Stripes need to release something live. DVD/CD, doesn't matter. Everytime i've seen them play live they've blown me away.

shaun3000 02-08-04 08:29 PM

Alright, Yoko Ono... whoopee

Tarnower 02-08-04 08:30 PM

Yoko is making me very nervous for some reason.

Joeboo835 02-08-04 08:30 PM

hahahaa, she's tearing up

shaun3000 02-08-04 08:32 PM

Stupid Yoko.

For such a huge star and musical genius, Paul McCartney really is a dork.

I am 1 hour behind the rest of you, and I just saw that White Stripes performance and it kicked ass! I don't think words can describe how good that was. I really need to pick up their CDs.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of them, but I was impressed at their showing.

I think I will. I think I will also buy that Outkast CD. Hate Rap/Hip Hop like it was poison, but from I understand, only one of the two discs is actually that. The other is funk, which I absolutely love. BTW, I thought Prince was pretty good. Was expecting another stiff, uncomfortable television appearance. The guy is incredible live, but always seems to give crummy TV appearances. Too bad Beyonce had to be in there to dilute it.

Miss me, miss me.

Everyone hear Dave Matthews screw up The Beatles song during the first chorus? He sang "I saw her DANCING there" (Instead of STANDING there). Vince Gill was laughing at him for the rest of the performance!

Agree with others that The White Stripes gave the best performance of the night so far.

Sting should have beat Sean Paul over the head with his guitar for butchering "Roxanne" like that!

Deftones 02-08-04 08:36 PM

We'll have to see if the Celiene Dion screw up is still shown on my telecast. I'd imagine it would be.

Poink 02-08-04 08:37 PM

For those of you that are gonna go pick up some White Stripes album based on their performance, get De Stiji. That's the one with "Death Letter" (the second half of their performance. It's a cover of a Son House song. I love how they'll play songs off their older albums on TV performances instead of just the latest single.

Tarnower 02-08-04 08:39 PM

OH GOD!!! Here comes the Rap/Hip Hop. The decorum and tact level will now dive down to the lower depths.

auto 02-08-04 08:39 PM

De Stijl

shaun3000 02-08-04 08:41 PM

Oh Justin, you go boy! -rolleyes-

Jesus, Justin is just jumping on everyone's coat-tails

Tarnower 02-08-04 08:42 PM

What the hell is it with Justin Timberlake injecting himself into just about every-other performance? It's like "Where's Freakin' Waldo"? I'm sorry, but I just can't this guy seriously, despite his ridiculous Grammy win. It's like watching Donny Osmond trying to fit in with all the current hip bands.

Chad 02-08-04 08:42 PM

Justin seems so out of place right now.

Good to see Arrested Development make such a huge comeback! ;)

He was on the original recording of the track. No problem with him being out there.

Not sure if you're aware, but he's on the studio version of the track.
