Angel 2-4-2004 - The return of an old friend

REMEMBER! New Angel Wednesday at 9 P.M. A good old friend comes back....
Spoiler:
Cordelia

xVladx 02-03-04 11:09 PM

Not for me. My local WB station is going to be showing a basketball game at that time. :(

Puzznic 02-03-04 11:18 PM

OMG, i would literally kick the door down of my WB affiliate if they did that. I can't wait to see this episode.

Lara Means 02-03-04 11:24 PM

I don't why knowing Cordy is coming back is a spoiler when WB has been promoting her return for TWO weeks.

crankyman 02-04-04 07:44 AM

Well, it looks like they're going to be showing the episode on saturday.

Hopefully the good old bunny ears can pick up DC's WB station, which is going to be showing it tonight.

I wonder if her mind was erased of all knowledge of Connor.

You know I was think it's a shame that poor bastard doesnt' get to watch it tonight untill you said you're going to try to get it on the DC station. I take that to mean you're in the Baltimore area. If that's the case then I'm stuck in the same boat as you are. They did the Basketball thing all last season and I thought it wasn't going to happen this season. The thing that sucks is that they say it comes on on Saturday but there usually is a game on Saturday so it's doesn't come on at the right time so the Tivo won't pick it up.

From the commercials, Cordy looks really good for someone who's been asleep for several months. I can't wait.

Yeah, apparently she got her hair done while in a coma. I guess Wolfram & Hart wanted her looking her best should she ever wake up.

Zodiac_Speaking 02-04-04 03:42 PM

Should be great...I'll post more comments after tonight.

Rypro 525 02-04-04 07:57 PM

well, all in the baltimore area got screwed since they are showing a college basketball game instead.

xVladx 02-04-04 07:59 PM

Yup. I love how we get an hour of "next, on Angel" during Smallville, and then it's basketball...

Rypro 525 02-04-04 08:04 PM

oh and xVladx, wnuv WB 54 will reair the episode saturday at 5pm

DGibFen 02-04-04 08:36 PM

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm really enjoying this episode. Some plot lines I've been interested in (been watching the previous seasons on TNT) are being resolved tonight.

And what the heck was Spike playing on the X-Box? Donkey Kong???

Dr. DVD 02-04-04 08:39 PM

My biigest question about this episode is...how the heck is Donkey Kong on X-Box?

Overall, this is a great ep with lots of twists. It's good to have the Cordy we know and love back and not the annoying, posessed one. Charisma definitely has the glow of a new mother to her.

Must be a mod ;)

Wasn't big on the whole Matrix/Blade/Batman fight.

Holy Crap! Didn't see THAT ending coming!

I'm actually close to crying right now. :(

Spoiler:
SO I guess she was a spirit with the ability to become corporeal?

Breakfast with Girls 02-04-04 08:55 PM

Well that ****ing sucks.

Kaervak 02-04-04 08:57 PM

I can't believe that ending. For once in a long time I was actually speechless with my mouth hanging open at that ending. Just so damn sad and unreal.

DGibFen 02-04-04 08:58 PM

I dunno, it was a good episode. Wrapped up a lot of loose ends (although I would have liked for the Lindsey plot to continue for a few more episodes) and closed the book on another major character in the Buffy/Angel universe. Plus, Whedon has a way of bringing her back should conditions warrant.

Amen. Though, I kinda thought something was up the way she closed the curtain in the hospital..

However, does anyone know of a site that posts transcripts of the show? Charisma's umm...assets wouldn't let me focus on what was happening... ;)

Yeah, she was quite jiggily tonight. Showed more than Janet ;)

Doug Heffernan 02-04-04 09:10 PM

All I can say is wow. Goodbye Cordy!

(I was hoping they'd kiss!)
