Curb Your Enthusiasm 2/1
Woohoo! Finally a great episode this season. I loved all the continuity. They finally had a great ending too. "A dog bit my penis."
It was odd seeing Larry have to stretch his acting skills this time. Going from gay Larry at the beginning to wasp Larry at the end.
It still seemed like they tried to pack too much into the episode, but it was all funny this time.

I dunno. It was a good episode, but not a great on IMO. THe dog bitining Larry's penis was hilarious, and the cashew stuff was pretty funny, but the golf club in the casket went no where and wasn't that funny. It was pretty good all in all, but not one of the best of the season.
But I agree, the last 3 seconds were lough out loud hilarious.

Susie: "You didn't know the club had your name on it, you ****ing idiot!!!"
That was my favorite part!

I didn't like most of it. Faking their way through the country club interview was alright, but the rest of it seemed pretty unbelievable to me. Nobody even acted squeemish about him taking the golf club out of the casket. And do they have to do the bit with everyone in the room staring at Larry in disapproval every episode?

I thought it was the funniest episode of the season hands down!
"You got us kicked out of the club over a @!# FIVE IRON!?!?"
"It was a five wood."
"What?!?"
"It was a five wood."
Great stuff...
Definitely going to rewatch it later this week.

They had one line I loved. After the coach praises Larry, Larry says to the blind guy, "Too bad you can't see."

This season still isn't grabbing me. While this episode had some funny lines a few funny situations, I am just not getting into it. In fact, I am having a hard time paying attention to the show while it is on.
It just seems like the situations are too forced, too unbelievable, and that they are trying to pack too many things into every episode. It is becoming more of a slapstick, over the top thing, and I am really missing the more subtle humor of the previous seasons.
I am enjoying the new season of Sex and the City so much more. It is not trying so hard to be funny.

Suisie is the best curser on TV since the producer on the Larry Sanders show.
"How are you gonna get in that country club you F **king Jew faced F **k!"

Someone please sum up the last two minutes. HBO2 is notoriously awful at starting 3 minutes past the hour/half hour, so I never got to see how the interview at the country club ended.

Wow. It's funny how people can like the same series yet have very different taste. I've loved the fourth season very much, but this was hands down the least enjoyable episode of not only this season, but perhaps the entire run of the show for me.
I don't know if I missed something, but why was the old man being buried with Larry's beloved golf club?

They reran this one tonight & I saw it for the first time. If you're like me & fairly new to the show, I highly recommend checking out the west coast feed tonight. I'm not sure how many I've seen, but this has got to be one of the funniest episodes I've seen yet.
