Without A Trace: Life Rules (1/29)

The team searches for a renowned motivational speaker who is kidnapped at his mansion minutes before his limousine shows up to take him to the airport for an out-of-town seminar.
Wow... two old faces from retired shows... Rick Hoffman (Philly*) and Jay Harrington (Coupling) guest star as a motivational speaker (Harrington) and his business partner (Hoffman).

It was good to see them again, even though Rick was over on NBC in CSI: Miami a few months ago.

Good episode, even though the ending was a little crazy. But I loved the line that was delivered by (Golden Globe Winner) Anthony LaPaglia:

"You're wasting my time... you big wuss."

(* I miss Philly )

This one didn't seem up to the quality that this show usually produces. It was missing alot of the tension that the show has during the search.

LaPaglia's last line was funny.

As were the looks that Jack and Viv gave Sam when she told them that she had used some of the self-help items a couple of years ago. Then I liked the subsequent look Sam gave Danny when he was getting into the video he was supposed to be researching.

This was a much more light-hearted episode than normal.

Nice to see Megan Ward, though she isn't aging very gracefully.

Actually it's "...you big wuss", which is even funnier.
Good episode. I enjoyed it.

Thought I had the wrong word in there. Fixed.

Interesting twist at the end with the self-help guru. Sam probably won't be using those self-help stuff from that guy anymore after seeing how low the self-help guru is willing to go to promote his own work.

Great episode. It was a bit lighter than usual, but still a good episode. I liked the number of sly looks between the cast members.

So was the whole thing setup by the guru? Was it a triplecross? I couldn't quite tell at the end, if he tricked his brother who tricked him who was planning the kidnapping. Regardless, they are both looking at jailtime.

I miss Philly as well. And Kim Delaney's short skirts.
