Keen Eddie (1/27/04) - "Sticky Fingers"

Ahh, the first new Keen Eddie in I don't know how long. Thank you, Bravo! A great episode with the "Lady of the Lift".

Incidentlly, could anyone identity the "porno" music playing in the background when Eddie and Fiona were playing "the Game"? It was unique with a chello mixed in as well. Thanks!

So did I - I'll have to make sure to record it tonight at 10/9 Central.

Bravo is the shit.

"What are you doing this weekend Moneypenny?"

"You, in every position."

cat screeching.

"Eddie, are you alright?"

"no"

dammit that exhange has me in stitches every time. It never will get old.

This was a breath of fresh air in a field of putrid "reality".

I can't believe that FOX cut this show so soon, and yet they continue to let "Tru Calling" find its audience...

There were so many good things about this show. Moneypenny. Fiona. The music [would a soundtrack be too much to ask for?].

Counting the days to the DVD release..

BTW...B.A.hist, you're right. Bravo is, indeed, the shit.

Rogue - has that been confirmed yet? Or is it just a rumor? I don't buy many tv sets (just Alias), but I would scoop this up in a heart-beat.

I think it's speculation. Although I'd buy this one too.

It was mentioned HERE.

Keep hope alive.

This was a new episode? I never caught the show on Fox and this is my first time around, but I thought all the episodes were already played. Is that not the case?

Thirteen episodes of Keen Eddie were filmed, but Fox only showed a random assortment of seven of them. "Sticky Fingers" was episode number two, and Bravo will be showing the remaining eleven in order.

"Sticky Fingers" was really episode 2? It seems it would have to be at least after the horse episode, as Eddie knew the back story behind the bar owners' blood feud. If I had to guess, I'd put it quite a bit later than that even, as Fiona and Eddie were more just flirty with each other in the earlier episodes, rather than lusting for one another.

If you look at the episode schedule for Bravo, then the listing of episode numbers and titles, Bravo appears to be showing the shows totally out of order.

No Use for a Name, "Sticky Fingers" was episode 11 (and one of those never shown on FOX).

Great show as usual. Pippin cracks me up.

The final scene with the lady of the lift and Eddie was
"How do you like me so far?"

You're right, Bravo is showing out of order. Someone had told me they'd be in production order, but I guess not. Oh well, still trying to find the artist/title of the "porno" song...

This is easily one of my top five shows ever. And f'ckin Fox had to shit all over it!

This was a great episode. Pippin was hilarious, as usual.

Mark Valley and Sienna Miller have such good chemistry, too.

I really liked the Sticky Fingers story and the character.

Great ending w/ the "Lady of the Lift."

This episode threw me off, because it was so much more progressed than the pilot. It made me wonder if I had missed an airing or something. I did however enjoy this episode. It's only the second time I've seen the show and I think it deserves

I agree, this was a great episode. I thought the story was pretty good. I almost forgot in the 6 months or so just how funny this show was. At least there's a few more new episodes to watch.

Technically yes you did. This was episode 11 so you missed 9 shows. There were a couple of things in this show that were explained better in previous episodes that were shown on FOX.

Wrong Jonny2k1.

It deserves to STILL be on the air.

It defiantly deserves a DVD release of the 13 episodes that were taped.

I know. Fox has patience for some shows that are clearly inferior, such as Tru Calling, yet they don't even know what to do when they have a true gem. They had this show on the shelf for about nine months before they decided to air it last summer. Then they proceeded to be impatient as hell w/ it and yank it before it could build up much of an audience - which is really hard to do in the summer-time. I think I will stop now.

also, didn't Keen Eddie get basically the same ratings as Tru? or were they even higher than Tru?
