Is it me or is anyone else getting annoyed to all hell by the Oliver character? I'm all for a fair fight, but I was hoping Ryan and Luke would beat the crap out of him. This particular story-arc has gone on a few episodes too long.
Not enough Summer, Anna, Seth and Sandy in this episode.
Please come back, Hayley. The O.C. needs you.

Worst episode of the series. Oliver is a terrible character and I don't like how he is being forced on the viewers. Giving him an episode that was pretty much all based on him was a horrible decision. He is not a main character on the show and he shouldn't be so stop trying to make him one. It also annoys me how stupid the other characters are to him, like they want to ignore all of his obvious problems and then pick on Ryan because he can see them.

May Oliver go the way of Doug on 90210, but more expeditiously.

Also, the Anna and Seth characters just seem really akward in their scenes together and just don't seem to be a believable couple.

Oliver needs to go. This show isn't that good when it turns itself into a soap opera.
Anna's line to Seth on the golf course about Summer not the only one losing their balls was great considering he said the same thing to Ryan last week

I don't think the chemistry between Anna and Seth is bad, it just pales in comparison to the chemistry that Summer and Seth have.
Whoever thought when this show started last year that Summer would be such a great character? I thought she would just be the bitchy-friend off to the side.

The other characters really shouldn't be so oblivious to this guy's psychotic behavior. Oliver brings down every episode with his boring self-hating scheming bull.
Melissa is also the worst girlfriend, and if Ryan had any sense he would just let Oliver have her. She's so naive and annoying that her and Oliver should kill themselves together.

I tried watching this tonight... got 10 mins into it and had (I repeat 'had') to change the channel.
How can you watch this?
Maybe it's Peter Gallagher's hair.

It's actually well written, imo, and it has a good cast w/ great chemistry - particularly Adam Brody, Rachel Bilson and Peter Gallagher.

Show's been somewhat on a downward spiral ever since Oliver was introduced, particularly tonight's episode when everything seemed to revolve around that jackass. Based on next week's preview doesn't look like it'' change much. Too bad Ryan and Luke didn't beat the crap outta him with a 9-iron.
btw, after the past few eps., does anyone else find themselves yelling the following at the TV: "There is no f---ing Natalie, you idiots!!"

Oliver is ripping this show apart. I can't stand Ryan or Marissa at this point either. Give me an hour of Sandy, Kirsten, Seth, Summer, and Anna, and some of the supporting characters.
I loved it when Summer started to freak out, talking about what to do with Seth. BTW, I read somewhere over Christmas (I think that it was a People Magazine) that Seth and Summer are dating in real life.

I tend to agree. The adult characters and the love triangle are the best parts of the show by far.

Oliver must go. I'm tired of his passive-aggressive behavior and milking the self-inflicted drama to get Marissa's attention. Marissa needs to grow a brain.
Summer was cracking me up. Loved the line about not knowing "irony" or "sarcasm" before Seth Cohen.
I guess I'll miss Haley (maybe she'll be back sooner, rather than later).

I have to agree that Oliver is a pretty horrible character. I don't see how everyone, except for Luke, could ignore his obvious attempt to steal Marissa. I actually liked Luke and Ryan teaming up together in this episode. Luke is a great character when he isn't being the over-the-top-annoying-guy. Seth and Anna need to break up, it just needs to happen. Seth and Summer are just awesome together. The end of the ep. when Luke hits on Summer was pretty cool, although I am glad that nothing actually happened.

Ill agree that this episode was a downer. I am starting to lean towards Summer ending up with Seth. I think that Anna's part is being wound down too much for her eventual exit from the show. She's basically letting Summer ruin their relationship. It would be great if we got a little of Anna fighting back and not always being such a pushover.

I think participating in a mamogram would be more enjoyable than having to watch another OC with Oliver in it, and Im a guy.
Summer calling Seth a jackass at the outset of the episode was great and Anna explaining how Seth is whipped was also quite funny.

I also LOL when Ryan was putting and punches the ball into the pool, and Seth leaps out of the water after retrieving it quickly (no telling how many he had retrived up to that point in the putting lessons).

Yeah this Oliver dude is really pissing me off, not becuase thats what his character is supposed to do, he's pissing me off becuase he sucks! This episode was horrible! I hope they get rid of Oliver soon and back to the good ol' episodes. Oh and by the way i loved when Seth said something like, " They can put a man on the moon but they can't serve a sausage egg mcmuffin after 11:30."
