"If he were a contestant on ['The Apprentice'], he would have been fired by the third episode," Trump says. "And unlike most people, I like Les Moonves." |
I enjoyed this. The women completely whored themselves out for lemonade...giving numbers, kisses, etc. And this happens in the real world constantly. There's plenty of actresses, executives, stock traders who got where they are by selling themselves, literally. And that bitch who took the hour long lunch break is terribly irritating!
The guys were just kinda sad. That Sam guy was embarassing himself horribly. He would stand up all the time when they were in the board room with the Donald and then he kept like bowing when he was leaving, coming in...extremely sad. The crawling around was just terrible and embarassing!! I agree with the poster who said the Dr. had the social skills of a child. You're an MD and you're chasing someone down the street with lemonade?! What a lunatic! |

They need to get rid of Sam. He is the most annoying person on TV bar none. I like the show, but he makes the damn thing almost unwatchable.

Today's Episode: I thought.... Spoiler:

Sam needs to go.

Forget about Sam. I can't wait for that bitch Ponderosa to get the boot. Dropping the race card is as weak as it gets. Besides, it's clear she doesn't "get it." It's obvious that Trump wants go-getters, and the ad guy made it overwhelmingly clear that he wanted the teams to aim for the stars. Tammy's idea was perfect. They weren't seeing an ad to the airline; they were selling their own uniqueness to the ad agency. Going for something bold and creative was what they wanted. That she doesn't get that is sad; that she resorts to the race card when called on being a bitch is pathetic.
Anyway, two weeks into this thing and all I can think about is Trump's sexretary. How about we see some more of her? das |
That racist shit was just stupid to say. Everyone knows the saying "calling the kettle black" and knows that it has nothing to do with race or color of a person's skin.
The girl's pictures were pretty funny :) This show is definitely a good one. Trump is pretty damned funny. |
Damn, this show is great.
|
*yawn* Getting bored with the show. Now I admit, I've never been a fan of reality tv shows, but the only thing keeping me going here is to see Sam get the boot.

I know some others have said this, but I do NOT like the fact that this is a women vs. men contest. The women have exploited their sexuality in both campaigns. I don't blame them for that --you have to take advantage of your assets-- but it is not fair at all to the guys. This show would have been much more interesting if the teams were fair. Maybe future tasks will be the type where sex won't matter, but it sure did make all the difference in the first two.
If this were reality and not a "reality" show, those women would have been shown the door. There is no way that sex campaign would fly (no pun intended). What do they think this is, freaking Playboy!?! Did you see the way that girl was oh-so-discretely leaning over the table during her presentation. And don't get me started on the flight attendant "uniforms". Please! These women are a bunch of prostitutes. They might as well have had Hugh Hefner choosing the winners, too. What was up with the tight T-shirt on that guy? I agree, the racism claim was ridiculous. It's a figure of speech you idiot! Honestly, I want the pot AND the kettle gone. Both of them get on my nerves. Ereka is cute though. It was a strange decision for Jason to not speak with the clients, even after Troy emphasized the importance of meeting with them. However, as nny pointed out, they had no part in the final decision so it really shouldn't have mattered. Pretty entertaining show. I wonder what they'll be selling next week. Swimming pools? |

I agree that the men's ads were too generic, but I thought that women's were in bad taste.
|
Amarosa is ridiculously annoying. I actually like the girl that won't back down from her stupid, asinine statements. She hated the idea of the ad and then didn't even apologize for it when it worked and they won. Then she pulls that racism crap on the airplane. I'm all for calling out people when they're being racist....but c'mon, she damn well knows the girl was saying it the way you say "Those who live in glass houses....". She irritates the hell out of me and needs to be gone.
Sam is such a jackass...seems like the producers are consulting with the Don to tell him not to get rid of him yet. Jason was soooo stupid for not meeting with the client, that's just a stupid move and I think he deserved to get fired. Sam is a complete jackass, but they didn't really let him do anything involving the ad anyway, so it's not his fault. The men's ad was good, extremely generic though. The women are just going to prostitute themselves as much as possible. And geesh, that one that wore the pilot's hat during the presentation, cover your face!! She is nasty!! |
I really enjoy this show.
However, I thought the guys should have won the last competition. I understand the reasoning in choosing the girls for being having spirit and imagining something different, and the "buying the people" aspect of advertising. But, in this case I read this competition of designing an advertisement for a particular client, and there is NO WAY that this client would have accepted what the girls put together. NO WAY. Yes it was more "original", but totally off base for selling that product to it's potential customers. The guys mistake was not meeting the client. They should have met them, then put together the exact same campaign they did. Sam is a tool, and you know NBC was "suggesting" who to keep to Trump for tv. It doesn't matter as long to Trump if he keeps him longer, as long as it isn't the last guy he wants. |

yeah gotta say I'm very intrigued by this show
Trump is a ****@! riot, if nothing else just watch him critique and fire ppl is great! and the men team is really making all of us guys look bad, they got the brain but just can't seem to pull their shit together they're down by 2 and they've lost Jason, who I thought could have to potential to be very beneficial to the team Guess that Sam guy is there only for drama and a good laugh I don't see how he could possibly be a business director at his company |

How about we see some more of her? das I couldn't agree more, and yes, I like the sexretary too. :) How could Ponderosa not know that the pot/kettle comment has nothing to do with race? :hscratch: Donald is not stupid either. He certainly has a monetary stake in the show and he will keep the more controversial contestants on as long as he can, hence keeping Sam around. He will keep Ponderosa around too when she has to make the trip to the boardroom. I sorry but someone sleeping on the job is far worse than what Jason's mistake was, particularly since they did end up put together a very good campaign (which I'm not sure would have been any different had they actually met with the client). |
Originally posted by Vegas9203 Agreed, they should have won, and you know there's no way that company is using that crap the women came up with. However, not meeting with the client was a fatal mistake. What were they thinking? |
I fail to see how this competition was "unfair." The men could have also done a "sexy" campaign if they wanted to. Or ANYTHING with a bit more flavor would have probably taken them over the edge.
Not that "fairness" matters. This is BUSINESS, and since when has business been fair? |
Originally posted by candyrocket786 Yes, the guys' ad was somewhat generic, but look at the company's website : http://www.marquisjet.com/home.html It's interesting that one of the thumbnails on the home page looks almost exactly like the guys' ad campaign. Makes me think that the Marquis Jet people should've had some say in whose campaign was "better". |
Originally posted by Skorp Good catch, candyrocket. It's interesting that one of the thumbnails on the home page looks almost exactly like the guys' ad campaign. Makes me think that the Marquis Jet people should've had some say in whose campaign was "better". Maybe there were "rules" and guidelines we didn't see, but I doubt it. The point was to make a campaign FOR MARQUIS JET. The guys did. The girls made a more "original" approach that might show them as unique and more sellable, and maybe want to pick them as a better "advertiser". But the big mistake is they made an advertisement that in NO WAY fit the client. |
Donald mentioned in the board room that Marquis was looking for something flashy.
I thought the girls' ads were great. These ads are for private jets and targetted at rich men like Trump. And those guys like flashy stuff that makes them think they are The Hott. Did you listen to the guys' commercial? I believe it was even addressing wives. It said something like "you'll feel safe knowing your husband is traveling with a Marquis Jet Card." |
