Justice League (12/13)
One part holiday themed episode.
I enjoyed it quite a bit. It was nice to have an episode mainly based around character development.
I'm really liking the interaction between GL and Hawkgirl. The writers went all out with ways for GL to use his ring too
I counted a snowboard, shovel, snowman, arms to throw snowballs, a big hand to stop Hawkgirl, and a big boot later to kick someone...

A fun episode to watch, although there wasn't any good action in it.
Looks like there's a two month hiatus in the show, with it coming back in February 2004 for the 3-part season finale. Here's the link for that: http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stori...2/05/index.htm
Rumors for next season are already coming out. Apparently next year they are going to pull out alot of guest stars for the JL. Here's the link on that: http://www.comicscontinuum.com/stori...2/13/index.htm

Fun stuff. One of my favorite episodes. Then they go and show the Batman holiday episode and proves that S2 of JL is just as good. S1 really didin't come close.
They should just make believe S1 never happened.
What's up with Grod? Did the Ultra-Humanite transfer his brain to his body? I must have missed that.

Heh, he's not in Grod's body. What? We can't have a show with more than one evil genius ape?
Why does everyone hate S1? I thought most of the episodes were pretty good.

Same here. This has been a great season, although I would like to see more of Wonder Woman.
This was a fun episode. Great change of pace. The Hawkgirl and GL scene in the bar was hilarious. I guess it takes being in love for John to use his power ring creatively.

Why do they just randomly leave out some members in a good majority of the episodes? They don't mention where they are. For example: Wonder Woman was just gone this episode. At least they mentioned that Batman was on guard duty.
The time where this really stood out was when the space station was firing asteroids at Earth. Superman was nowhere to be found. Of any of the JL, Supes would have come running the instant this started happening. Was he in line at the DMV and didn't want to loose his spot? The threat was over when he got through the line so he said, "They don't need me now, might as well go catch a movie."

From the writers/producers standpoint: they said (in one of the DVD featurettes) they use the characters that best fit the story and not everyone every week. It's hard to fit all of them in.
From the story perspective: If I remember the pilot correctly, the League was really just meant to get together to fight evil as a team "when they can help out". Batman didn't want to be a full-time member, and that point was brought up again when they thought Supes died. Maybe some other crisis close to home required Wonder Woman this week.

I understand this, but it seems that WW was in significantly fewer episodes this season than anyone else, particularly Hawkgirl and GL. I only remember 2 episodes with WW this season: the one where she bodyguards the woman who marries Savage and the one with Aquaman.

WW appearances in S2:
2-1,2-2 Twilight
2-3,2-4 Tabula Rasa
2-5 Only a Dream... briefly
2-7,2-8 Maid of Honor
2-11,2-12 A Better World
2-13,2-14 Eclipsed
2-15,2-16 The Terror Beyond
2-17,2-18 Secret Society
2-19,2-20 Hereafter
She's present in 17 out of 23 episodes that have aired

I'll leave it to someone else to figure out the totals over both seasons for every character, heh. I think J'onn is in all but a couple though.
