Need TV Talk and das vibes...
FBC is going to shoot one more drama pilot this January...
It's between mine and two others. The two others are by writers with much better resumes than mine... and their pilots are probably much less stupid than mine, too...
But that never stopped Fox before, right?
So, for the sake of my kids eating and being clothed (okay, maybe I'm exaggerating), everyone please think/pray/meditate/send vibes/voodoo/esp/or whatever to the Fox network for them to shoot MY pilot.
Even if The Jump is the lamest name since... well, ever.
Thanks!

Break a leg, Boat!
I just added an auto-record WishList for "JUMP" under DRAMA. Can't wait to see it!
Of course, it woudn't hurt to add SockMonkey to the script.
There's a better title: Everybody Loves SockMonkey

I've started a "Save The Jump" website and have an online petition for everyone to sign!
While you're waiting for a result, take comfort in knowing that The O.C. is every bit as lame a title as The Jump, and it's going strong, so there's hope.
I'm sending some "or whatever" to Fox this afternoon. I may even cross my toes. Bona fortuna!

Try to get the girl that plays Anna on The O.C. as part of the cast. She's good, and since she's not a permanent member of that cast, make her a part of yours.
I shall pray to the tv gods for you, too.

That's cool we have writer on here. What's The Jump about? And by the way I like the title.

Thanks. As a writer no offense guys who wrote some of those names. But rule of thumb I always work with is come up with a title that just pulls you in.
I know The Jump has been picked but here a few ideas i just thought of.
SunSkin - Because It's in Miami. But probably not a fitting title for students and campus cops plus university life. I like the title though.
University Divided or Campus Divided - Because of the two types of people on the show the students and the campus cops.
The Day That Was The Night - Maybe The Student stuff could be during the day while the campus cops stuff is at night and they cross paths inbetween sometimes.
