South Park 12/10/03

"Just stand outside her window with a boombox and play Peter Gabriel"

Plenty of great lines in this one.

Is it Goth week or something? First Frederick on Frasier, now Stan. Stan was quite a bit funnier though. :)

conscience 12-10-03 10:14 PM

omg this was one of the funniest

"SHOCK THE MONKEY"

rotfl

the whole goth thing, and the raisins thing was hilarious

MrX 12-10-03 10:21 PM

"What did I do wrong, I haven't talked to her in weeks"

Jimmy going up to Wendy in the hall at school was hilarious"Stan says you're a cu.."rotfl

Butters was also good this episode.

the aftermath 12-10-03 11:01 PM

Butters - "At least we have *******s you dumb girl"

Birrman54 12-10-03 11:04 PM

great episode.

muggins 12-10-03 11:13 PM

They had some good lines.

"If you want to be a non-conformist, all you need to do is dress like us and listen to the same exact music as us."

the aftermath 12-10-03 11:21 PM

Butters is right up there as one of the best animated characters ever. His naiveté cracks me up so much.

Charlie Goose 12-10-03 11:26 PM

I felt so bad for Butters right from the beginning. Poor guy never saw it coming. At least he was the one with the lesson-learned speech at the end.

The "Raisins" effect is a strange thing. We all know that the chicks in places like that are just scamming us for bigger tips, but we fall for it every time. It's as if we don't even care that they're not being genuine, just as long as we get some female attention. Guys are totally ruled by their genitals.

das Monkey 12-10-03 11:43 PM

What a great episode!

"I'd rather be a crying little pu$$y than a faggy Goth kid." The kid who kept flipping his hair back was perfect.

... conformists -ohbfrank- ...

SirPablo 12-11-03 01:09 AM

That was a great ep.

"Guess I just have to learn to deal with it like everybody else. Hey Wendy...you're a bitch. Tokken...right here buddy."

beefjerky 12-11-03 01:20 AM

I love these types of episodes. No big social issue to tackle, just good old character fun. This one's up there with the Asspen episode.

das Monkey 12-11-03 01:44 AM

"I'm not going to a third world country ... conformists."

spainlinx0 12-11-03 01:46 AM

As soon as Stan told Jimmy what he wanted him to say I knew he would stutter on that word, but I still cracked up when it happened.

:thumbsup: Raisins. Yep. Men are that stupid.

Very funny episode. I was rotfl when Stan played "Shock the Monkey" and then watched Token close the curtains.

The goth kid with the hair was great. I guess all us non-Goths are all just conformists.

I missed this bit, what was it?

RoyalTea 12-11-03 10:18 AM

funny how cartman only cared about the food at raisins, when everyone else was busy staring at the girls.

Butters' parents had a running bet on whether Butters was gay. When Butters told them he had a girlfriend, his mom figured she'd lost the bet and paid Butters' dad.

Butter's parents after finding out he has a "girlfriend".

Gizmo 12-11-03 10:18 AM

It was when butters announced to his parents he had a GF.

Cusm 12-11-03 11:43 AM

I did catch that, but forgot it already. The bad thing is that this part really was funny to my wife and I as we have a freind whose boy we have this bet about - actually I think he will be a gay serial killer.

Mopower 12-11-03 01:52 PM

Another great part was when Stan was cying on his bed and Cartman busts in and says " ***!". The whole Raisins thing was genius. Kept reminding me of what happens at Hooters.

Groucho 12-11-03 02:00 PM

All I did through the whole episode was rock back and forth hoping my wife wouldn't ask me to explain the "Raisins" jokes.
