That '70's Show question

When did they finally replace Lisa Robin Kelly with Christina Moore as Laurie? The new episode I saw on 11/26 had Moore in it. The last one I remembered seeing with Kelly was the finale from last season when Red has a heart attack. Was that her last episode? Anyone know why the actress was replaced?

I liked the joke Eric had that Laurie had been in jail - "What? She was like gone for TWO YEARS!"

It was rumored to be substance abuse. That's why she was gone the first time.

I prefered the old Laurie. She could piss you off big time. The new Laurie seems too likeable. Too bad the old Laurie was doing drugs.

For a show that has characters that partake of the pot quite often, you would think they would help a member of the cast through a drug problem and not replace them. Lisa Robin Kelly must have one hell of a drug problem if she has been axed from the show twice now - too bad, because she was much better than Christina Moore at playing a pain in the ass.

Old Laurie had sluttiness down to a science. The new Laurie almost looks like a virgin.

In all fairness, the people at That 70's show did give her a second chance. When she did return, she seem underutilized. That may have been due to the drug-related problems.

I don't know about Tanya Roberts but the reason Tommy Chong left the show was because of his legal troubles. Especially since he is in prison now there is no way he could do the show.

I thought the problem with the old Laurie was that she had an eating disorder.

Tommy Chong killed and ate the old Laurie during a bad case of the munchies, that is why he is in prison, and she had to be replaced.

They should have replaced her with the girl who played Erics cousin and then starred in 'That 80's Show'

Chong went down for for selling drug paraphernalia. It was the first time in 10 years the DoJ prosecuted a paraphernalia case. Sixty-five years old and he's spending nine months in prison for selling glass.

He had an online store. Just search 'tommy chong paraphernalia' at google.com and you'll get all the info you want. It's shameful that Ashcroft chooses to go after someone like Tommy Chong while all those corporate crooks are still walking around free.

Just echoing what others have said: Old Laurie just had that skank look...new Laurie, while hotter, looks clean.

As for Tanya Roberts, around the time of her departure, I had read the reason was because her husband was ill and she wanted to take care of him full time. No idea of the validity of that information though.
