I've heard rumors. American High was the show about high school students in school, senior year. They would also record personal video diaries about their life. It was a documentary TV series on Fox, and then went to PBS. It's from the same people who just finished "Freshmen Diaries" on Showtime.

It was a wonderful show. I wonder what happened to the girl who was the folk singer?

I guess a better question would be is how successful has Freshman Diaries been? American High obviously bombed big time if it wound up at PBS. I love both shows, I just don't know what channels want to support them.

American High was cancelled by FOX after only 2 episodes, and then PBS picked it up. Unless PBS is going to order more eps, I don't know...

Freshman diaries was WAY too short. They had so many characters and so few episodes that the year seemed to fly by too fast. I liked the show otherwise, but I wish it could have been longer.
