I was checking imdb.com for Paul McCrane and found that he guest starred on Superboy. Granted I wasn't that old when the show was on but I don't remember it. Any info?

I have vague recollections of the show. If I remember correctly, it was Clark Kent the college years, but unlike Smallville, he actually donned the tights.

I don't recall why, but I vividly remember the episode with Myztplyx (and of course that's mispelled).

They also switched Superboys after the first season. Yep, it seems even Kryptonians aren't immune to the "Darrin Effect." i couldn't get past Superboy #2's (Gerard Christopher) lisp . Thank goodness they didn't switch Lana Lang (Stacey Haiduk) .
If you do a search, i think there were a couple of threads regarding this show.

Gerard Christopher was an old man when he played Superboy too (around 30 years of age).

I noticed in the imdb entries for the cast memebers that they seemed a bit old. Although older actors often play younger roles. the same can be said for the current smallville cast, they're all in their 20's and are playing 17 year olds, except lex who is supposed to be in his mid-late 20s

Kristin, Sam and Allison were pretty typical in casting actors about 3 years older than their characters in a teen-related show.

The reason why Tom Welling got the part is because he simply looks the part better than most actors of this generation. But really starting to look older than 17 in the 3rd season.

But seriously, 30 is pushing it to be playing a 17 year old.
