Big news for Angels 100th episode

Seems like there is some big Angel news for the 100th episode (the 12th episode this season). Highlight to see..

Spoiler:
Carisma Carpenter will be making an appearence on the show! Not sure if its for one episode or not, but she will be back

As for episode 10...
Spoiler:
The actor who played Lindsey in Season 1 and 2 will be making an appearence as well as a character named Sean...

And one more about a possible new Buffy spinoff (not confirmed):
Spoiler:
The new show takes place after the events in Sunnydale, and follows all of the shows regulars as they try and rebuild the council a and train the new slayers

Thats all for now...make sure to use the spoiler tags as not to spoil for anyone.

MUST. NOT. HIGHLIGHT. SPOILERS.

I am so weak...I clicked on here knowing full well there'd be spoilers in here. Thankfully, you used spoiler tags. And also a big for not putting spoilers in the thread title..

Now let me get outta here before I read these..

I'm weak, I read them.

Spoiler:
A Buffy spin-off with all of the regulars? Minus Buffy, I'm guessing?

Spoiler:
No, actually Buffy is there, but to a lesser extent (more like a xander/willow part). However, this is ONLY a rumor.

Question:

Spoiler:
Was Lindsey that female detective? I always liked her. I haven't finished watching the first season though so I'm not sure what happened to her.

Spoiler:
No, he was the Wolfram & Hart lawyer that fell in love with Darla and had his hand chopped off by Angel. He moved back to Oklahoma near the end of season 2.

So the new show would be set in London or is the Council moving to California?

Well, if (regarding the last spoiler)
Spoiler:
they are going to rebuild the WC, it would provide a good place to bring back a lot of the characters who didn't make it to ANGEL.

Buffy is probably out of the thing, except as an occasional guest star. A lot probably depends how her film career takes off.

Willow probably won't be on it at all, if Aly has signed to star in an NBC sitcom. Guess we'll have to see how that one does.

Faith -- occasional guest star.

Giles would probably not be a regular, as he went to recurring status on Buffy in the final two seasons. But I'm sure he'd show up.

The likely cast would be: Xander, Andrew, possibly Dawn, possibly Cordelia, Robin Wood, Kennedy, and maybe another Slayer. Cordie would probably make a good Watcher. Maybe Andrew will take her with him when he appears on "Angel" later this season?

I honestly think Cordy may be a potential...maybe thats why Andrew is there?

It might be an interesting idea to explore, but
Spoiler:
Cordelia's probably too old to be activated. What is she... at least 23 by now. There has to be a cut-off point somewhere, or there would be more older slayers running around. The girls probably lose their potential sometime in their late teens. What was Kennedy, 19? Even she seems a bit old, considering what we've seen. And the WC's "test" they do on the slayer's eighteenth birthday would imply slayers are generally activated before they turn 18, and if I want to be cynical, I'd say that the de-powering test is a way to kill off "old" slayers.

More stuff from SpoilerSlayer:

EPISODE 8: http://www.spoilerslayer.com/archives/002526.php

In the final scene of the episode:
Spoiler:
It's shot in such a way as to let you know that there's a big reveal at the end. All one take, very careful framing. Eve arrives at her apartment, the interior of which is covered in mystical runes. She's speaking to someone we don't see, saying that everything went according to plan. They bought her "Senior Partners" explanation, Sirk disappeared right on cue, etc etc. At one point, the sound on the tape cut off (whether by accident or design, I don't know), so she says "You'll be happy to know [looooooooooong silence] didn't kill each other after all." As she's talking, she's undressing. As the scene ends, she crawls into bed, completely naked, next to an also naked, rune-tattooed LINDSAY MAC-FREAKING-DONALD.

Sounds like there's an arc brewing, between this and the return of
Spoiler:
the Shanshu prophecy
In fact, it's an arc that goes back to the first and second seasons. Guess they're not too concerned about standalone episodes and being accessible for new viewers.

EPISODE 12 (#100): http://www.spoilerslayer.com/archives/002527.php

Spoiler:
Yes, you can take it as fact that the 'Devil' himself will be appearing in Episode 12. Well, not that devil, but one that goes by the name of Izzy.

Angel is still extremely suspicious of Eve and requesting that security keep an eye on her while she's in the building.

Oh, and one other thing...

Cordelia is not only up and around, but she's extremely unhappy to discover exactly what Angel has been doing in her absence. More specifically, who he's gotten into business with.

Some of this sounds interesting, more like the greatness of the first two seasons. Maybe I should start watching again.

Hm. No google hits for Lindsay Mac-Freaking-Donald, but here are two possible choices for Lindsay Macdonald:

http://colour.derby.ac.uk/colour/people/lindsay/

http://www.sickkids.on.ca/MiracleWee...le_lindsay.asp

And neither of them looked much like the guy in bed with Eve. I didn't recognize the guy. Refresh my memory: was Lindsay maybe the up-and-coming lawyer who's arm Angel cut off and who then left the show?

Charisma on her "Angel" Departure

In a recent interview with SMGFan.com, Cordelia Chase herself Charisma Carpenter finally spoke out about her surprise departure from the vampire series "Angel" and her upcoming guest starring role in the 100th episode which airs next week.

Have you and Joss talked about that situation and was it a difficult decision for you to go back for the 100th episode considering how things unfolded?

Um, yes and no. First, to answer have I spoken to Joss about it, no we haven’t, there’s really no point. There’s really nothing to say. The day I ended up on the set to return for the 100th episode was a lovely day and he was there, he wrote a note and left flowers for me in my trailer expressing his gratitude for my return and that it meant a lot to him and the story would probably be one of the sweetest they’d ever told. And that’s enough for me. I don’t have any need to hold on to anything

You don't want to dwell on it?

Yeah, I mean it's just, it's turned out to be a really great thing. You know, sometimes and this is kinda cliché but sometimes...well, I was laboring on whether to return or not return or how to proceed myself. Sometimes decisions get made and it ends up being God doing for you what you couldn't do for yourself. It's just turned out for me to be a really positive thing. So it's hard to harbor any resentment or ill feelings for something that has turned out to be a wonderful thing.

What can we expect in next week's show?

You’re really gonna like the 100th episode. There’s stuff that comes through that has probably been like 4 years accumulated. It’s just a summation of the last 4 years. Like everything. The gamut, the emotion, the funny. They wrote the script with range. I know that in some cases it was there because it was there. I think with David and I, we had scenes that, I don’t even have the right words to serve what I’m trying to say here. What I mean is that it’s a strong, strong and powerful episode full of what most of the show is. You know, there’s fighting, there’s humor, there’s sex, there’s love and forbidden love. There’s tears, it’s just all there and it’s a really special episode.

DARK HORIZONS just released some major major spoilers about the 100th episode of ANGEL. I kinda wish I didn't read it. If you want to.... its below. It will ruin the episode for you.

Spoiler:
"Angel" According to televisionwithoutpity.com, a secret ending has been filmed for the 100th episode. This is not unusual, having a secret part filmed for Angel since they did this before to reintroduce Lindsey back to the show. The original ending had Cordelia kissing Angel and then leaving out the office and then the end credits rolled.

Well, the secret scene that was filmed has Cordelia leaving as Angel gets a phonecall. The person on the other end of the phone tells Angel something and you hear him say "When did she (Cordelia) die? So she never woke up?" Thus it means Cordelia will die on the 100th episode of Angel and that is how they will wrap up her storyline.

I didn't keep up with why Charisma left the show, but from reading between her answer to the above question, it seems like she had a fallout with Joss. Is this true?

I was tempted damn it, really I was, I read them and now DAMN. I will post the rest in spoiler form so not to piss anyone off.

Spoiler:
Okay if you didnt know that Cordy was going to 'go' one way or another you shouldnt be watching the show. Her contract was up last season and she honored her character (and Im sure some nice cash) to come back for a send off. I like both ideas, but unless they make this Lindsey a lot more interesting, the 'secret' ending is going to suck.
