I didn't think this episode was as good as the previous two but still had it's moments.
Buster's swearing and the cornballer infomercial were good.
I thought the best scene again this week was in the "next week" part at the end. Last week they had the rabbit and this week Tobias and the review of his play. I was rolling when he was in the shower again "Why Tracy Why"

I liked the last scene when he burned his arm again.

I don't find myself laughing (like I do when I watch Scrubs) during the episode, but it's more like my mouth is agaped at what I'm watching, and then finally at the end, I bust out laughing at the entire episode all at once.

I finally got around to catching an episode last night. It was pretty amusing, particularly when they were making cornballs w/ their dad's 'Cornballer' and when Buster was ripping on their mother. I loved it when he had several lines of dialogue just bleeped out.
Jason Bateman's reaction to that made it even better.
Not a bad show - I'll try to keep watching when I can.

I guess I must be missing something. I've watched 2 1/2 episodes of this show, and I find it mildly amusing, so I am surprised to see such high praise for it. Of course, it reminds me a little bit of The Royal Tenenbaums which so many here praised, yet I could not stand.

The bleeping was hilarious! I have a feeling that the bleeping itself is funnier than any actual dialogue the writers could have put in there.
The cornball commercials were too funny.
This is a very strange show.

Caught about half the show and laughed pretty good. Anything with David Cross is comedic Gold IMO. I hope this show lasts atleast long enough to make it to the repeats. Because with my current schedual I really can't watch the show.

Another great episode. This is a great ensemble show, and I hope that they continue to showcase all of the cast, and not start to focus on any of them in particular.

stupid amber alert in AZ made me miss part of the show. The best line was about getting cornholed.

Great show! Loved it! David Cross rules!

I've now seen two episodes and after the initial "what the hell IS this" reaction, I was busting up at most of it. Good dialog and timing throughout! Any reference to cornholing will have me falling outta my chair.

Although his being in jail is a central point of the show, I certainly hope Jeffrey Tambor doesn't spend the entire series in an orange jumpsuit sitting at that round table.
And, yes, David Cross does rule!

I like David Cross, but so far his character has been one of the least interesting to me. I think I like him better as an angry sourpuss rather than a whiny spaz. That's more Andy Dick territory. He had a decent story this episode, except I thought reversing the male and female roles in the play was stupid.
I think Jason Bateman's doing a great job at being the straight man. I hope this show sticks around. I expect it will get better if it's allowed to continue.

I must admit I've missed most of the episodes so far (or at least most of each episode) but anyone else think Jason Bateman does a really good job in this series?

I'm totally into this show. I have all three of them on tape, and I didn't get that Ron Howard did the narration on the show until this week. I knew the narrator sounded really familiar and then all of a sudden it totally hit me out of the blue. I guess that is why all of the FOX ads make sure to call the show Ron Howard's Arrested Development.
