Chapter Seventy-Three
Duty on a teen hotline troubles Charlie (Dennis Miller), who's contacted by a suicidal young man; maternal instincts obsess Marla, who wants to bear Harper's child; memories of a checkered past haunt Carmen, who feels driven to help a wayward student.

I could've sworn I read he was only signed for a three ep deal. I kept waiting for Ozzy to go postal and take him out. I'm glad he didn't...and I hope Charlie Bixby hangs around for a while.
So Ms. Torres is an alchoholic...? Meh. That whole storyline bugged me. Glad it's over.
And i'm really getting tired of Danny being dismissed like he doesn't know what he's talking about. I don't understand why he's chided every.single.episode. Perhaps he could use a lesson in breaking it down for someone gently, but that's his only problem.

Spader has pulled the Practice out of a hole that nobdy thought was possible.
Harvey wanting to father Marla's baby
I think Danny has said alot of dumb stuff in the past that has pissed people off so people just assume when he talks what he's saying is wrong.
I thought it was funny with Marla at the recital instead of Claire. Probably so they didn't have to pay the acctress who plays Claire for an episode.

I like Charlie Bixby. He was pretty funny on the teen hotline. Too bad he's not sticking around, but I'm sure the next stunt casting is right around the corner.
Really beginning to dislike Carmen. She's annoying and she always has this look on her face like somebody cut a nasty one.
Honk!

I really like the addition of Dennis Miller. It has added so much more to the show, and made it fun to watch again. The other stuff is pretty blah, though.

I think a lot of the problems and eyerolling I do when I watch how things unfold on this show is that many of the main characters haven't cashed their reality check yet.
