Wow, that's what daylight looks like in Nevada...

Will Catherine keep the money?

I was cursing at the TV when she was about to rip it up. Do not throw away 250k, put it in a trust fund for your daughter, give it to charity, but do not tear it up and let a bank keep the money (the bank keeps the money on cahiers checks, right?).

I like the sherrif, his and Grissom's antagonism of each other.

"That should give you plenty of time to burn it down."

my guess is that Catherine will give the money to the dead strippers family to help them since she blew the case. and I think it is public record that she blew the case, so admitting it wouldn't be a problem

I was hoping the vet would inject the headless body full of a bright green liquid.

If I hadn't seen the name, I wouldn't have recognized the sheriff as being the guy from Clear and Present Danger and Mission Impossible. He seems to only be able to play one type of character (or maybe that is all he is given the chance to do?) but he seems to do it very well.

I'll make a prediction about the check:
Spoiler:
Catherine will accept it, and then the cliffhanger for the final episode of the season will involve an investigation into whether she was paid off to blow the investigation involving her father.

Spoiler:

I had the same thought that this would come back to hurt her in the long run

I liked last night's episode. Good change of scenery and I welcomed Grissom's one-man show for the hour.

Very entertaining episode. It was great to have no Nick or Sara...they both bug me. I would be happy with Grissom, Catherine, and Warrick, with an expanded role for Greg.

Why is it that on almost all shows when they visit a small town, the whole town is usually all keeping something secret? It is a pretty standard go to plot...
