Good episode. Here are my random thoughts:
The school kid thing seemed a little forced, as did the whole NYC part (Ed came across as an idiot, IMO...
Kinda weird, too, isn't it, since didn't Ed come from NYC to move back to Stuckeyville after his divorce?

I thought he was from Boston

Apparently.

Which is why I was when he was assing it up in The Big Ci-Tay.

Well now that he has Carol, I could see how that would take a little of the pain away from his divorce. It's been long enough I would think part of him misses New York.

As for assing it up, that's what he does wherever he is! Did you expect him to act cool when he got to New York? He's a Stuckeyville native. He was only in New York for as long as he worked as an attorney.

You have a good point.

I've never known anyone who's lived in NYC for any amount of time who would do the kind or quantity of assing things up that Ed does. I guess this episode brought home the whole "Ed as an unrealistic character" angle. For me.

Decent episode. Has the Ed formula intact.

Dr. Jerome. I still hate the guy.

I am glad how they didn't just have Carol drop her dreams at the end of the episode like it seemed like she would. Thumbs up!

I thought it was a great episode. Glad to see Dr. Jerome back in action.
