Penn & Teller Keep Slinging 'Bull' for Showtime
(Tuesday, October 21 09:27 AM)
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Penn & Teller's crusade against hokum, balderdash and crackpottery will continue.
Of course, they're a little more blunt about such things. That's why the call their Showtime series "Penn & Teller: Bulls***!"
Showtime has ordered a second season of the myth-exposing show, in which Penn & Teller use their knowledge of con games, strong belief in the principles of science and the occasional hidden camera to debunk ideas about junk science and expose hucksters who prey on the gullible.
The result is something of a gonzo newsmagazine. Topics Penn & Teller explored during the show's first season included everything from alien abductions to feng shui.
Production on the second season of "Bulls***!" is scheduled to begin next month for a spring 2004 premiere. The new episodes will follow on the heels of a DVD release of the show's first season.

I ordered Showtime just for this show after hearing you guys rave over it. Unfotunately, I got in on it right after the season. And despite hearing that it would be repeated in September, I think they've shown two episodes in the months that I've had it. Does anyone know if there are plans to run weekly repeats in the near future?

Don't know. The Showtime site is silent about this. I missed the first 2-3 episodes so I would like to see them repeated as well.

Season 2
Season 1 DVD
I too ordered Showtime just for this show. I haven't re-ordered it since I moved. I'll be re-ordering it for Season 2 of Family Business and Season 2 of Bullshit.

I ordered Showtime just for P & T and cancelled it when the season ended. I will be getting Showtime for the second season and will definitely buy the DVD of the first season.
Great news!

I ended up keeping showtime because of this show and family business. And then I keep it because of Dead Like Me. Now that all over for the time being I really need to cancel it.

I caught all of these thanks to OnDemand.
Good show. A little stupid and forced at times but I'd still reccomend it.
I honestly didn't think they'd get renewed. It also seemed they were running out of ideas.
