Did she really stab Vaughn?

I think so, but I recall that there was some tracking device thingie she had. I bet she just put it on him instead of whatever she was supposed to put it on.

Again, I was distracted, so I'm not sure. Not liking Melissa George's character, and the previews make me dislike her even more.

Probably in a non vital area so as to cause as little damage as possible. I'm guessing the crotch since he obviously has no balls.

As long as you had picture and could see the balcony scene of her "test" you didn't miss alot.

The fight between the Vaughn's in the opening was stupid and just seemed like forced conflict.

Dixon has become the most useless character on tv.

I don't know about that, but I miss Syd & Dixon out on missions. Dixon as "snobby art buyer with cigar" was excellent. Same as "gambling Jamaican."

I miss DJ Dixon. I agree with Static Cling. I miss them on missions, but I think they will (hopefully) be able to develop him into a different character now. Before I thought he had a very "side-kick" feel to him. I think he COULD become an interesting component.

I too hope they develop Dixon just a tad more. Even when he was going on missions he wasn't the most vital character in the TV universe.

Good episode. I'm wondering did Syd get just a bit of satisfaction in stabbing Vaughn. Not sure where the tracking device went could be on Vaughn, could be on the biological weapon. Guess we'll find out next week.

Sydney and Vaughn will now have mirrored stab wounds in their abdominal region (she's got one on her right side, and he'll have one on his left side).

Sloane is so deep in these nasty weapons, it isn't funny. That the CIA/NSC go back to him week after week is a precursor that when Sloane drops the bomb, it'll be a doozy.

Is Sark really that oblivious?

How far was Sydney willing to go to convince the Justin Theroux character that she was Julia? :D

- Syd and SpyDaddy review the murder tape more closely, and Syd thinks that Sark's dad is saying "Julie" or "Julia" as he's dying.

- Some Covenant (I think?) bad dudes are trying to combine already nasty biological weapons with other nasty biological weapons to make really nasty biological weapons... it comes out later in the show that their intent is to make bio-weapons that will only affect certain individuals.

- One BadDude gets infected and dies in a bio-heist, but not before giving Syd the goods on his gang. Syd goes undercover to infiltrate the gang, and when she meets up with Head BadDude, he says, "Hello, Julia." They test her to make sure she can do her job by having her rob a necklace from a woman's hotel room after they've already called the police informing them of a burglary. The end result is Syd ripping off a not-really-sexy maid's costume to reveal a sexy black bra & panties, and diving off the fifth or sixth story of a building into a pool... with the necklace. She's in. Later on, during planning for the bio-heist, SARK rolls in to make sure his BadDudes are getting their act together. Syd does some creative face-hiding, and Sark doesn't see her.

- SpyDaddy shows Dixon the murder tape. Principal Dixon calls Syd, Vaughn, and SpyDaddy into his office, and bitches Syd & SpyDaddy out for not sharing the info with him immediately. However, he realizes he can't just quit the operation, so he says that they can't tell the NSC about it... which means Vaughn can't tell his wife. Dixon sends them back to class, and Syd's like, "SpyDaddy, WTH?" SpyDaddy said that the important thing to do was to keep this from the NSC, and this was the only way to do it.

- BadDudes find a picture of Syd with Vaughn in somewhere she's not supposed to be. Head BadDude has the good fortune to have Syd lying all over him in his bed before he inexplicably cuts it short and holds a knife to her neck asking her why she was where she was with who she was. Syd says that Vaughn's her supplier, and in the meantime, Marshall and Marshall's baby's momma upload a criminal profile for Vaughn into the Interpol database, just in time for Head BadDude to check it.

- The BadDudes do the heist successfully with Syd, who is supposed to put a tracker on the bioweapon they steal... not sure if that actually happened or not. As they're coming out, they meet with other BadDudes, who say, "Look what we found!" Enter a beaten-up Vaughn, who they snatched from the observation post that he and Weiss were at while Weiss was off fiddling with some doohickey. They see his CIA-issue gear, and Head BadDude is about to shoot him in the head, when Syd (still undercover) goes, "No, if he's CIA, then he burned me too... let me do it." She grabs someone's knife, walks up to Vaughn, and says something like, "You never should have betrayed me." (Oooo, double meaning!) She actually STABS the poor guy in the gut, and Head BadDude kicks him down a hill. BadDudes & Syd drive off, leaving Vaughn to die (yeah, right).

I think that's the gist.

Maybe a thorough booty-knocking would have brought back her memory :)

Syd had a very Elektra like look going on.

I've been pretty disappointed with the HDTV broadcast video quality of Alias for this season, it really is dark and murky, and doesn't make for a pleasant viewing experience on that front.

How high was that balcony? Neat that the pool was coffin-shaped, but wouldn't it have to be at least 30 feet deep to prevent her from breaking her neck?

I realize this is more hope than fact, but I think Weiss is a baddie. My evidence? In the first episode's mission, everyone gets wiped except Weiss and Syd. Then in this episode, Vaughn is somehow kidnapped while Weiss is on patrol?

Unfortunately, it does not appear that eyebrows is a baddie, unless she's a baddie not in allegiance with Sloane.

How is it that Syd jumps from at least 8 stories and no one notice her going into the pool? I know it's dark but still . .

Yes, that's Justin Theroux (also seen in Charlie's Angel 2, the DVD comes out tomorrow).

Like Timber mentioned, Syd looked almost exactly like Elektra. Did the Daredevil dvd come out yet? Maybe some subtle advertising perhaps?

I saw the part of her jumping in the pool. It was kinda cool till she got out and there was a party going on. Like no one would have noticed.

The Daredevil DVD came out in late July.

At least one person noticed - some guy did hand her a towel. My guess is: it was a party, no one cared.
